The location isn't the issue, it's Uhaul itself. Staff was helpful. It's a general store, not a dedicated Uhaul location. This wasn't the location I selected for pick-up. Then, we had ordered furniture pads and they were not available. So we had to go find furniture pads at a different location. This took time and added stress during our move. Then to top it off, Uhaul changed our drop off location, which meant we had to drive across town (after already driving several hours in holiday traffic) to return the truck.

Don't send someone out too the back of beyond to pick up equipment. This is not the location we specified.

The location was great. The service was great. The condition of the truck was great. However, the truck's gas tank was NOT full when I picked it up. Once I drove down the road a mile I noticed that the tank was 1/8 of a tank BELOW full. Since UHaul requires that I return the vehicle with a full tank, it should have been completely full when I picked it up.

The truck was given to me covered in mud. The guy was super creepy and made me super uncomfortable. Made me pay a 100 deposit cause my card was prepaid. He basically lied to me saying I’d get my money back if I did all these extra things when returning the uhaul. So I cleaned the uhaul and returned in BETTER condition than when I received it. After that they kept my deposit! And refused to a refund! I’d never use uhaul again. I am so sad I really needed that extra $100.
