Better customer service. We were put on hold for more than an hour with no resolution and transferred multiple times on phone. We had to pick up our reservation 70 miles away from designated location and when we tried to drop off our reservation, the guy told us he couldn't accommodate us nor did he help to assist us in dropping it off elsewhere. Since customer service couldn't help, we ended up just leaving it there and told him to deal with it himself. Very frustrating experience. Other than that, roadside service was excellent with dealing with flat tire on auto transport. Will not be using uhaul for any future moves. Ultimately was a negative experience for us.Dominic D.

The drop off was local which was great. But it is at a grocery store and as the surly cashier grumbled to me â€œ I'll get to it if I have time. U-haul is closed today. Leave the keys over there.â€ And with a wave of her hand I was dismissed. Later a call from the Couer d alene office accepted my drop off and assured me we were ok. Thank you to them.TERRY F.

First, I want to clarify that the UHAUL people in Osborne, Idaho provided excellent customer service. HOWEVER, we were supposed to pick up the UHaul truck in Spokane, Washington, only to find out less than 20 hours before the pickup that we had to drive 1.5 hours into Idaho to get the truck. We had booked and paid for this UHAUL truck for greater than 30 days. We were given the option of driving to Moses Lake, Tri-Cities, or Idaho to get a truck that was supposed to be in Spokane. Customer service on the 1-800 UHAUL site was rude!!! Beware of the "preferred pickup" site with Haul as you may be driving 1.5 to 2 hours to get the truck/trailer and being charged extra miles. Don't jack around with the prices, provide the needed equipment to connect the trailer to the vehicle. A fee to drop off a trailer? Ha! what customer service?Jerry M.
The only complaint I have is the fuel. I went 14.8 miles round trip. I put $10. worth of gas in before returning it. Was told there was 3/4 of a tank. Not possible receipt show 5/8 of a tank. I was charged $36.00 for gas(39.5gallons). No way I used that much gas going 14.8 miles.Oma S.
Apparently they had not done a great job at tire inspection. On my trip, the auto transport trailer tire blew, and the technician who came out to fix it, decided that 2 more in addition to the blow, could benefit from being replaced. I feel like these tires could have been changed out sooner, so it wasn't me dealing with the blow out. I know trailers move from place to place, so it's not this outfits fault necessarily- but a possible indicator of complacency in all locations who let it slide.Ben M.

The guy that checked us out had no idea what he was doing. We didn't discover until after a cursory check that there was trash behind the seats, cereal in lots of hidden places, the inside of the windows was so filthy that when the sun hit them later in the day, I couldn't see. Had to pull over and clean them. No packing blankets were available and he had not idea what we were talking about.Judy H.

These people were clueless at what they were doing. They treated me like I was a child. They refused my reservation so I called U-Haul headquarters and there was no problem with my reservation. The employees still gave me problems. They desperately need training with customer service!Larry K.

Steins Market is THE ONLY UHaul dealership in a 50 mile radius of Osborne, ID. Those who helped me get the rig under rental and ready to go were wonderful and did the best possible they could. It seems that during the trip a head nut on a very important bolt (and part of the trailer tongue) snapped off and for the grace of God I did not have a problem. The bolt shaft was completely rusted except for a sliver of fresh metal I could see that kept it together until this trip. I'm not certain how anyone could have caught this problem in advance. My feeling is the nut was torqued too high when installed.daniel K.

If a trailer rental,make sure ball is right size,mine was 2 small,(2) for safety sake supply rental services with tape to secure li Brake,directional connection wire so it DOES NOT DRAG & WEAR THE WIRE TO COPPER.Supply jack to lift trailer to hitch height so employees save back injury.Joann D.

Actually get the drop-off site in Osburn, Idaho, into your system. Nothing shows up in your system for anywhere in this area except for Shoshone County, which makes it very hard to schedule any pickups and drop-offs.Adrian R.

The employee was determined to help, but didn't understand the checkin process and couldn't find a record of my trailer rental. She didn't ask about the equipment condition, and I didn't tell her the truck I rented actually died while I was still driving it. I had to shift to neutral and restart it at 30 mph. I don't understand why it happened and it never did it again...Mark S.
