My overall experience was not good. I have rented U-Hauls in the past and never had as many problems as I did this time. In the future if I needed to rent a truck U-Haul would be my last choice I would rather pay more money and have a better customer service experience.

Corey LThe rental truck was mostly clean, but could have been better. There was a lot of what appeared to be spilled coffee all around the cup holders. It wasn't terrible, but I had to wipe it down myself just to make sure I wouldn't be charged for cleaning someone else's mess. Unrelated to the location, I had poor experiences with the smart phone app, both during pickup and drop off. Generally speaking, the app is very nicely designed, and was easy to use. The problems I encountered were with taking photos of my license (for pickup) and the fuel gauge and odometer (at drop off). I had to try 3 or 4 times for the app to accept my license photo, and I tried many times for the app to accept my fuel/odometer photo, but it never did. Fortunately, at drop off, the office was open, so I was able to hand in the keys to a person, but at pickup time, the office was closed, so if I hadn't managed to get the app to finally accept my license photo, I would not have been able to get the keys to the vehicle. The ability to recognize valid photos in the app must be improved. At the very least, it should allow for human approval as a fallback after say 2 or 3 failed attempts by the app. Since a person must be available for "phoning a friend" to verify the renter's identity, the same person (or group of people) should be available to approve photos taken via the app when the app fails to be able to approve them automatically. Otherwise, a renter might have a serious problem (either cannot pickup, or cannot drop off).
Charles DApp experience was terrible. App kept freezing, I couldn’t get passed the screen where I could upload vehicle inspection. I had to dismiss it after wasting a 1/2hr. Connection on phone was fine, and was able to use other apps on location, UHAUL app continued to give network errors and refused to load. Will not use again.
MATTHEW DI had a pickup time of 9:30 but I could not get the truck till 10:50. I had to wait till someone opened the store. I scheduled an on line pickup.
Willard BPick up appt was for 11am. When we arrived the location was closed. We called uhaul customer service twice and were simply told to download an app to do a mobile check out. We called the number for the business and spoke to a man who stated he would be there in 30 mins. Luckily we had a smart phone to begin the mobile check out. So we sat in the car setting it up to check out through the uhaul account. It was a horrible and unprofessional experience. We ended up leaving there at 1130 and still no one showed up.
Noah RYou changed my pickup location to times I was not very happy where I had to go I was scheduled to pick up the truck at 9. I was informed the place was not going to open till 10 .I had people hired to load my truck and had to pay for them to sit around
Charles Jequipment was ok condition, person that helped us was nice. didn't know anything about the trailer or hooking it up though. terrible expiernce though all and all with u haul not the location
