TODD TInstructions to where to drop off the truck were not clear
JAMES WI had a reservation confirmed for a 10 AM pickup in Lake City Florida. This location was a 1.5 hour drive from my house in Perry Florida due to it was the closest location that had a 15’ truck with car transporter. When I arrived they stated they had the car carrier but did not have the truck. While the agent was speaking on the phone with someone else from the location trying to find me a truck, I called the U-Haul 800 number. They found me a 26’ truck 40 minutes north in Jasper Florida but I had to go there to get the truck and come back to this location for the car carrier. I informed them I was wanting a 15’ not a 26’ and they stated there were no so I was getting an upgrade for free. While I was getting this all set up over the phone, this location gave the car carrier to someone else right in front of me then tried to tell me and corporate they never had a trailer for me even though they had already told me they had it. Now corporate had to find me a car transporter elsewhere which they were able to do. They found me a car carrier in Madison Florida but it was 35 minutes drive from Jasper Florida where I was getting the truck. After everything was set up I drove the 40 minutes North to pick up the truck in Jasper however when I arrived nobody was there. I received a call from U-Haul stating the truck I was there to pick up could not be rented but they found a different truck for me back in Lake City a 40 minute driver back south to the exact same city I had just come from. I asked them if they were positive this time and they insured me the truck was there and waiting for me. I asked if they will have the 12 furniture pads available and they assured me they would. I arrived to the location in Lake City and was able to get the truck but they did not have the furniture pads available. I took the 26’ truck and know had to drive 55 minutes North West to Madison Florida to pick up the car transporter. Upon arriving I inquired about furniture pads there and they did not have any either. During the drive up when I used the headlights the dash lights would go off and on every time I hit a bump. They would be on until I hit a bump in the road and then they would go off and I could not see anything on the instrument panel until I hit another bump and they would come back on. Sometimes they came on normal brightness other times they came on real dim. As for getting an upgrade from a 15’ to a 26’, it is not an upgrade when you only need a 15’. It ended up costing me hundreds of dollars more in gas then I would have spent on the 15’ truck. That’s not an upgrade. The entire experience was horrible. I spent 6 hours and drove around 300 miles just to get the equipment and get back to my house to start loading. Not happy at all
Stephen CFirst time I called they said in a very heavy accent this was not a Uhaul drop off. So I called again and someone else finally took the phone and said yes. They were hard to understand and not very friendly or helpful.
Paul BMake sure that trailers are available when reservations are made. I received a phone call the day before pick-up. The gentleman asked if I was willing to pick up my equipment an hour away, I advised I was not. He went ahead and made my reservation an hour away, so I then had to change the location of my pickup again. I pad the same amount I was supposed to pay with the reserved trailer, but did not get one. I was quite disappointed in my experience, however, past experiences with U-Haul have not been bad.
Brittany HThe truck was horrible to drive when I got to about 60 mph it would misfire really bad felt like it was going to break down at any minute. The man argued with me when I try to explain that I filled the truck back up to where it was and I was being charged and extra 15 dollars treated me as if I did something wrong on my end felt like because I am a female I didn’t know what I was doing or how to fill the gas back to the correct level. Was most definitely not a pleasant experience and will not go to this location again.

Sandra VFirst, they didn’t have the size truck I ordered. Next, they didn’t have the supplies I ordered (paid for) with the truck. I should have been contacted in advance so I could’ve made other arrangements.
Kent MDrop off was a breeze. The location finder couldn't locate me but the app was easy to use. Had an excellent U-Haul experience.
Vicky MIt was hard to find. No UHAUL signs outside the facility since it was a gas station with UHAUL services. Once I figured it out, the personnel were friendly and everything went well.
Michael ANot let them scam people out of money like they did me. I had put the needle back, cleaned it out and went under the milage I paid for. The store claimed they put 5 gallons in too and tried to charge me. This place was a joke and will probably make me rent from Penske from now on if this is what U-Haul is going to allow.
Stephen SUnfortunately the wife of the store was not able to process and thankfully the husband store manager was able to step in and complete application. It took a while as they had to help all the customers 1 before me and 3 after me. Everything was smooth after that. I was thankful for that!
Denise BDont route me 30 mins away from where I wanted to pick up my truck then make me take it back, even though you said there was a truck in high springs. Get your inventory straight before the book.
Jason GLiterally our driver side back tire was flat and came off the wheel. Luckily we had an air compressor and two boys who knew how to put the tire back on. The gas station was super sketchy and definitely shouldn’t be a uhaul dealer. We originally chose to pick up from keys Kustoms but they apparently weren’t open and we were automatically sent to this location. Then, in the contract, it says that uhaul would only possibly take a $30 (or 30 something dollars and some change) as a hold until the rental is brought back but that we wouldn’t be charged anything until the rental is back. But, we were actually charged twice. We were charged for the estimated amount while we had the rental and then we were charged for the actual amount the day after we brought it back. This was unaccounted money being taken out of our account. And due to this negligence, we were charged over draft fees from our bank which has cost us another $70. As far as I’m concerned, I believe uhaul owes us not only the $84.77 that was taken the first time as the estimated amount but uhaul also owes the $70 that our bank took from us due to uhaul pulling twice! This has literally been the worst experience ever and I will NEVER use uhaul again.

amanda eIt was GREAT! We arrived EARLY and he let us have it then. WE FILLED UP THE GAS THERE WHEN WE RETURNED, EVEN THO IT WAS HIGHER THAN IN TOWN COZ OF BEING EXTRA HELPFUL!

Patricia Gi was overcharged,he was an asshole...he would not give me a copy...he said it was in my email....i was giving one price...he charged me different amount. i ask for small truck even though he had several on lot he said he only had a huge truck. he was an asshole....told me not to steal his truck..i had to move my daughter an only had a few hours...i was charged almost 200 for 5 hrs...it showed mileage as being 33,833 when i returned it ..it was 33,886 he charged me with 113 miles i only used 53 miles...he would not give me the normal paper work. he sent to my email...which i got in pensacola....i put 20 in gas an he still sharged me 11...i have never been told not to steal his truck....there was 5 small trucks when i got there an i was told he only had a huge truck...when i returned the truck he still had the same 5 trucks on the lot...i have never been treated so bad or told dont steal his truck....i will never deal with him again even if he was the last uhaul dealer.i would rather burn my things than to deal with him again.i will not refer him to anyone an i would warn people not to deal with him.i have used uhaul for years.but this left a bitter taste...
MARY PHe told me other le el up trailers were rented but I went online and could have rented a larger trailer at same place that day. My son assured me the one we had was good. Sad he lied to us
ROBY DGuy was rude behind counter and got upset because he said just park it over there and didn't like where we put it and made us move it.
SCOTT SI couldn't get cell service to check in. The person working there did not seem to know anything about return process. I had to call uhaul after leaving just to be sure it was recorded, spent over an hour on hold trying to spk to someone. Once I did they were very helpful
Wayne RThe vehicle had clearly not been cleaned or even inspected as there was debris in the back and cab also the vehicle had a dangerous pull to the right more than likely due to the damage it had on the front passengers side also there were ants all inside and the rental agents were very rude when asked if I could switch to another vehicle that was the same.
STEPHANIE PThe truck shut down on me for hours. I was stranded in a place I did not know From Friday 4pm to Saturday 7am. When I called the place that I rented it from, tried to explain he hung up in my face.
TRINA WThe store was closed when sign indicated they were supposed to be open, putting my move on hold. The truck was dirty and in poor condition, the floor was caving in causing a safety hazard, and clerk didn’t seem to care and lacked customer service. Recommend renting a Uhaul from another location

Ketan CSince it was a gas station/convenience store, and the sole employee was tied up with her duties we were not able to have anyone inspect the truck or verify the mileage when we returned it. We didn’t get the final bill with the mileage added until hours later via email. Never had this happen before so though it might be normal for that location, it was far from normal for us. We don’t appreciate the lax attitude and the lack of professionalism shown here. It’s not the employees fault but if their going to run two types of business at least have two employees to ensure that they can properly do both at once.

myrtle lIt took 30 minutes to pick up the uhaul. He was on the phone and had an ear piece in the other ear. Didn’t explain anything and asked for our information 3-4 times. It should have been quick and easy and it was not.
Krystal WWhen I drop the truck off I was told to come back the next day. That they didn't accept trucks after 5pm. But then after i told them I couldn't come back the next day that's when they were okay to accept the return of the truck. However the young lady was by herself and really didn't seem to know the drop off routine.
