I was very satisfied with the people I dealt with, very easy to work with. I must say, I was disappointed that I could not complete my rental on my computer and had to switch to my wife's iPad. Other than that, the girl in the office made it very easy.

I left Truck where I picked it up from as I was told no instructions on where to leave truck. Was left a voicemail basically telling me I’m stupid for not following instructions that were never told and informed I would be charged extra for it. Go anywhere else.

Agent took the liberty of adding safe move coverage for $14 without my permission or even asking me if I wanted it or not. I would have declined.

The only comment I wanted to let you know what that the tank showed close to full when we got it but the tank actually held about $30 extra over full when we went to fill it up. We only went 42 or so miles and put in about $40 in gas. Obviously added to the total expense.

They never went over the paper work was the worst experience I’ve ever had the manager and the gentleman at the counter with the rudest people I’ve ever met and very disrespectful. I will never go back to this location. i’ve never been treated with so much disrespect.

U haul called to tell me a 26" truck was not available the evening before I was to pick it up. The regional manager, Mark did everything that he could to find a truck. I had uhaul movers scheduled for 9 am & Uhaul did not have time to clean the truck. I did not care because Mark found me a truck. Excellent Mgr. Uhaul should give him a big raise! Because of his efforts, I rented another uhaul truck to complete my move. HUGE problem solved. Thank you Mark!!!

RUDE and inept employees. Did not have all my requested equipment. Blame uHaul for the shortcoming. 26" truck had less than 1/4 tank of gas. Stay away.

The employee wasted at least an hour of my time, didn't know how to use computer to get me signed up and how to call a manager to talk him through getting my rental truck. I actually thought for awhile I was going to walk out of there without a truck for my move because the employee DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING!!!!

Treat customers respectfully. Charge customers the correct amount. If you overcharge someone, figure out what the problem is and actually fix the problem instead of telling the customer “I don’t know what to tell ya.”

Very upset, they are changing me for 4 gallons of gas that is impossible I used. I drove 50 miles put over 5 gallons of gas. When I parked it the gage was were it was when I left. What you are telling me is truck gots 5.5 miles per gallon then. I don't think so please help me. We have rented from U-Haul many times in the past and never had any problems before. when I arrived at this u haul facility at storage America 1145 Capricorn Blvd Punta Gorda. The manager would not bring truck up front to office, I had to walk to the back of the parking lot and get truck myself. and then he would even come out of the office and inspect truck with me and when I returned the truck he would not even come out and inspect truck for a turn in and he told me that I had to put the truck back in the back of the parking lot that if he had to park the truck in the back of the parking lot he was going to charge me for him to park it this person was very extremely rude through the whole rental and return of the truck I would not recommend u haul to anyone if this is how all of your rental facility treat their customers I have never been treated so Rudley and if I had more time that day I would have never rented from U HAUL PS. this unit # DC1671 RUNS LIKE CRAP

Folks at location were helpful…Truck was dirty inside and out…from equipment point of view ramp seems very short creating steep grade..cleanliness of vehicle in my opinion is a corporate issue…maybe you just don’t pay uhaul locations enough to encourage them to maintain trucks better..I have rented from other location with same issue..

I called on a Thursday to rent a uHaul for a move on that Sunday - so only a few days ahead. Our need was to rent the uHaul on Sunday afternoon, after my person was out of work, for 24 hours. When I called this location to verify the online information, I spoke with Joe who was very nice and helpful. He explained that they were open on Sunday, but I could come in Saturday before they closed to pick it up and I would just have to have it back by close of day Monday, and I would only be charged for a one-day rental since our need was to rent it Sunday afternoon for 24 hours. The very poor experience starts when I went to get it Saturday. I was in the best mood going to the uHaul because my person and I were moving in together, and this was something I have been wanting for a while. I was smiling ear-to-ear and basically just giddy. When I got there, Joe wasn't there, and I was "helped" (if you could call it that) by someone named Ciro. Like I just mentioned, I was in a GREAT mood going in. I was nothing but pleasant to Ciro and he was nothing but rude and disrespectful to me from pretty much the second I sat down at his desk. Apparently he was mad that Joe offered me the deal he did of picking it up Saturday before close and returning it Monday by close for a 24-hour rental. He told me, in a VERY nasty tone, that "Joe shouldn't have done that and he had to override the system". He was basically yelling at me, like I was a child and not an educated person, about how the deal I was getting was BS, he was going to talk to Joe, how if I was a minute late or didn't park it exactly in the space/position it was in he was going to charge me and repeated his "threats" several times. I could not believe the way this man was speaking to me. I was sure he had to be the owner of this establishment because I was sure he wouldn't have a job if he was an employee and this is how he spoke to his costumers. I was shocked when I got his business card and saw he was a manager. At one point, I had to tell him "not to speak to him in the manner he was and that he was very disrespectful". I never leave reviews or complain about service, but this man was horrible and beyond insolent. I am a middle school teacher, and have been teaching for 20 years (many of them in very bad areas), and my worst kids were not as nasty as he was. If we were not in a bind with needing a truck, and renting it at 11:30 on a weekend when most uHaul places were getting ready to close, I would have walked about as soon as he started speaking to me like he was (which was within the first three minutes). I was literally in shock with the way I was treated. I would never recommend this uHaul establishment and as a matter of fact I will tell anyone who will listen about the way I was treated by Ciro. I understand everyone has a bad day here and there, but to be so disrespected by someone for absolutely no reason is unacceptable. I was a paying customer and I was not asking for special treatment. I did not ask Joe to allow me to pick it up Saturday, I simply told him of my needs of requiring a uHaul Sunday afternoon until Monday afternoon. Joe was the one who offered for me to get it on Saturday before they closed. I said the equipment was not clean because the ashtray was full of cigarette ash and there was a few items left in the back (small items like a pack of incense, clothing tags, an item of clothing). So the truck was not swept like you are supposed to do. I can deal with the items left behind, but the cigarette ash was gross and smelly (I am also a former smoker so I am used to the smell). Again, I am not one to complain. Ever. As a matter of fact, I cannot think of one other time I did. But, Ciro almost took one of the best days of my life and tried to dampen it, but there was no way I would allow him to do that. I know it is cliche, but it costs nothing to be nice. Even after he was horrible and disrespectful to me, I was nice to him. Ciro needs to not deal with customers and be in charge of behind the scenes jobs. I do not think I will not rent from uHaul again after this experience. I know that if I do give uHaul another chance, I will not go to this location.

The rental was poorly handled by U-Haul. The rental location was NOT the same as the pickup location. U-Haul failed to clearly state that the equipment was not available at the rental location, but needed to be picked up at a different location. This led to confusion, time delays, and more mileage than planned.

The truck cab looked as if someone had been living it. There was nothing to pick up, it was simply filthy to the touch. It was very dirty. If I were a "germ-o-phobe" or a Covid19 paranoid individual, I could not have gotten in the vehicle. The service was good however, the location was easily accessible for pick up and after hours drop off.

Van had a smell like old cigars, the windshield was really dirty on the inside, and the "old change" warning was on. The website allows you to make a reservation for a time when the business is closed, but you can't really get the van when the business is closed. Luckily, the business owner worked with me to work around that.
