My issue was with the fact that I was supposed to pick up the trailer at a much closer location and didn't find out that I had to pick up 30 miles away until I called to see if I could stop a little later in the day. I had to cancel lunch with my family to get there in time - very inconvenient.

They permitted us to drop off the trailer on Sunday despite being closed. That kept us from having it in our driveway overnight and having to backtrack to return it the next day. So very helpful. CARRIE S.For starters have cruise control. If I had cruise control I would have saved a lot of gas. Also let people know there is a governor on the truck. I couldn't go the speed limit in Texas or Oklahoma because the truck is set to max speed of 75.

KRISTI E.The Uhaul service is excellent, except for the wrong calculation of the driving distance. We rent an Uhaul to drive from Northfield, Cleveland, Ohio to Fort Smith, Arkansas and the distance is about 1000 miles (+/- 10 miles) but the Uhaul estimated 1207 miles, we have to pay extra about US $200 for 200 miles for this trip (instead of paying about US$1200, we paid US$1400 plus). MARK B.Maintain your trucks better. Vehicle began misfiring and backfiring violently soon after loading and sprung a bad exhaust leak an hour into our drive to our final destination and we had to pull over to the side of the road, the office told us to call customer service. Customer service offered us nothing but an hour hold time we could not abide. We called back to the Richfield office and the lady told us the truck was still safe to drive. We finished our trip but with extremely loud engine noise, gas fumes choking is in the cab and drastically reduced gas mileage and acceleration. We were offered a 10% discount but I believe that we deserve more.
ZACHARIAH B.What is the point to check in online if it needs to be repeated on pick up location manually? I had another reservation a week ahead but I could not use it because Uhaul site was down. I waisted a lot of time and it broke down all my plans. I expected some discount for this reservation. Also I believe Uhaul may have an option to use hard paperwork as a backup in case of internet issue. Customers time is also valuable.
