Rudest woman working the desk. Was not allowed to even park vehicle on site. Not helpful and rude from start to finish. Would have take. My business elsewhere if truck was available anywhere else. This lady needs a class on customer service.

Leigh JI purchased the truck with the intent on having it only for a day or two. When I received the truck the lady said if I don’t use all my days then the difference will go back on my card. When I made it to Starkville I was told no money will be refunded and that I was out 400+ dollars for about a half a days use.
ANTONIO YI felt like I was being given a hidden charge at the time of purchase because I had made my reservation online and had declined the insurance coverage, but then it was added back on without my consent. I caught it before paying, but it felt shady like U-Haul was trying to sneak an extra charge on me. Other than that, I was happy with my experience.

Laura HI have used this location before ,ever time you go to pick the truck at certain time they can’t do it because there computer is down so they put you behind on your schedule than you go to drop the truck off nobody’s there to receive it or won’t even answer the phone. If I rent another truck from U Haul I won’t be going there to pick a truck I will find another company to rent from.

Luis CI couldn't rent a van because I only have a Visa debit card, though your website says otherwise. Instead, I could only get a 26 foot truck which was much more than I needed. I'll NEVER use this location again and maybe any U-Haul in the future.

Barbara WI didn’t appreciate the fact that the truck I reserved was not ready and it was not told to me. It made the moving process take a bit longer because we had to go with another smaller van. All in all it worked out, but I wish I would have been notified prior to getting to the store. I do however recommend Carolyn for EXCELLENT customer service!!

The second location smelled like cigarettes and the lady struggled to get through the process of renting me out the truck. The truck had dirt in the floor and smelled like weed.

Julius WWhen we received the truck it appeared fine, but as we began to load it we discovered the floor inside the truck on one side was coated in a clear, slippery substance. It smelled like wet, dirty dog inside, almost as if someone had been bathing dogs in it and spilled shampoo on the floor? My husband was nearly injured trying to keep his balance while loading a heavy item and slipping on the nasty floor. We had to clean it to be able to keep using it, and still couldn't get all of it off the floor. I called the 800 number. After being on hold for nearly an hour and being transferred multiple times, I was told all they could do was have a local sales manager call me, which could take up to 72 hours. That was 5 days ago and I still haven't heard from anyone. We returned the truck early, and requested some kind of remuneration for our trouble. The store rep said we'd have to call the 800 # for that. So the moral of the story is the national level people pass you off to the local store, and the local store passes you off to the national reps. Neither plans to do anything to provide actual good customer service. We will never rent from U-Haul again!!

Elizabeth JI purchased the “SafeMove” insurance because it was explained to me that it would cover the truck and my personal belongings and that Roadside Assistance would be included as well. However, the roadside assistance does not cover most roadside issues. One tire got stuck in the mud and still had to pay $325 to have a tow truck get it moved!!! Horrible experience!!!

DERDRICK BY’all can fix the return your truck on the website. I put the right mileage for what I was suppose to do so y’all knew. Then I had to pay $15 bcz I typed the wrong number. Uhaul is stupid and I won’t recommend uhaul to ANYONE!!!!
Lillian VGreat store and location. However, it would be a great thing for a maintenance tech to be onsite to actually thoroughly check out each and every vehicle. 1.) The motor had a roaring sound and loud ticking noise and 2.) The left front and rear wheel seals had leaks that need to be addressed immediately.
JEFFERY SReservation was a pain, the manager at 7399 US-64 E wasn’t of much help with the reservation’s issue. His lack of courtesy, empathy and clear communication only pushes costumers to find other company. The same thing happened at 5315 Summer Ave location with one of the ladies over there. Frankly, these two incidents in the same day leaves a negative impression of U-haul’s costumer service. Luckily, the lady at 6303 Summer Ave. was very kind and professional.

Craig FThis location is apparently closed on Mondays, but that was not conveyed to me! I drove the truck and auto-carriage to the site for a drop-off, only to find they were not open. Fortunately after lots of phone calls, someone came around and let me leave the rental pieces.
RUSSELL WThe lady working at this location was on the edge of rude or maybe she just woke up ... I don't know for sure but I did not get that feeling of customer service. She read the contract details to me like it was painful for her and the truck had bits of trash both in the cab and in the back of it. However, I have began to expect that type of customer service and trashy conditions from Memphis, Tennessee.

SHAUNELLE LI had issues finally getting a pick-up location. We scheduled our pick-up at the Stage Road location, very convenient to our home, a week in advance. The day before our p/u, our location was changed to an inconvenient location. My wife dropped me off at work and I was going to have to UBER to the new location. On the p/u day, our location was changed yet again to a location further from my work. UBER would have been expensive, so my wife picked me up from work and took me to the new, 3rd, location. I don't understand why vehicles cannot be shuttled from one location to another within the same metropolitan area. After we finally received the truck, all went well.
William ABrandy at Storage Locker and Uhaul on Summer was very rude when returning the truck. Yes I was running late due to moving across town and picking up my things from 2 places moving into one but once arrived back at storage locker and uhaul on summer, brandy greeted me at the front door to get the key by first words “you are way late “ and I tried to explain the issue she took the key and said umm hmm and shut the door not a thank you not a how are you not a how was everything, she has no customer service. Will never go back there
