All equipment was not available. It seemed as if the person was annoyed I was there and that they had to deal with me.

DOUGLAS SI was suppose to pick up from another location and that location didn't do what they was suppose to causing me to have to get it moved further out and more mileage meaning more money which was out of my control u would think uhaul said we will waive extra miles ect no. Then I had to go further to drop it off for some reason

James GEverything was wrong with my invoice (base odometer reading, fuel was off and reported I returned it a day later than I actually did) resulting in the charges being $100 higher.
Joseph CRide was a little bumpy, instead of smooth in places, so perhaps the truck needs oil??
RUTH ACheck all tire pressure, front end for wear and alignment oil, transmission, fluid levels things like that vacuum wipe down interior. If you need somebody to do that sort of thing might come out of retirement.

Robert DWhen looking for a rental, I was initially distributed by the padding of cost at some of the rental locations. Although the mileage was listed on line at .69 cents or.79 cents per mile, some locations listed the mileage rate at .99 cents per mile. I believe some franchise locations are increasing their revenue by doing this.

Maria CThe location is fine, but the van was filthy, I killed a German cockroach in the cargo area, where I also found a bunch of sand, leaves, two toothbrushes, and some metal part to something. The cab had a plastic knife and an unopened can of Coke behind the driver seat. I guess I should shut up and be happy there wasn't any illegal drugs, beer bottles, or other legal liabilities in it. I cleaned all of this up because I didn't want to get charged a cleaning fee for the previous renter's mess; if they were charged a fee I feel that amount should be deducted from my rental charge since I cleaned their mess up.
David MI would have top-rated the msnager and staff, but the day before I contracted for the truck I called to do the reservation over the phone, but there was no andwer. Next morning, same result. So I drove thete the next morning and the office was locked until 20 minutes after the advertised opening time. The day of the scheduled pickup, the manager was an hour late. I was very annoyed. Finally I was charge a fuel charge when I definitely left the truck with more fuel than when I received it!

Joseph FYou should have waived the entire fee. I returned your truck early, at 7:30-7:40pm. By 11:30-11:45pm the truck was stolen by some familiar with your store manager. This was all recorded on your security video, the thief had access to your lock box. and until I came in at 9am requesting a copy of my final bill, your store manager didn't have a clue. When I told her that I returned your truck last night, your store manager said she needed to review the video and I needed to come back in an hour, she refused to close the contract. When I returned she still hadn't resolved the issue and (NO the store was not busy). Finally she started to review the video and saw me putting the key and contract in your lock box, still your manager refused to provide a receipt or close out the contract. The store manager started looking at the video and paused it when the thief stepped into view. Your store manager walked outside and I overheard her talking to someone, stating that she believed she knew the person responsible for accessing your drop box and stealing your truck. Again she refused to close out my contract. By this time your store manager began referring to me as "Hey Buddy" you can't take pictures of the store video. Hey Buddy??? I called the Police as did she, and finally the police and your regional manager arrived on site. I gave a statement to your Regional Manager and to the police. In my opinion the thief of your vehicle is an inside crime and should not have caused a refusal in the closure of my rental contract. Secondly, your store manager referred to me as Hey Buddy because she was overheard stating that she knew the thief. Just think, had I not tried to return your truck early so it would be available for your next customer, the theft would not have happened during my rental. Still thief made off with my personal information, including my address, and other detail. If I am inconvenienced further by the thief and anyone now in possession of my personal information, you will hear from me. Thank you Walter

Jeffrey HSomething popped in either the manifold or the exhaust system and the truck was extremely loud. The ladies at the rental facility, especially Samantha, were very friendly and helpful. I get the feeling though that the truck itself was poorly maintained and had way too many miles on it to still be in service. I was also shocked that, based on what I had to deal with, that I was not offered some type of break on my mileage charge or something. Overall, because of the truck alone, it was a nerve wracking and miserable experience!

BECKY SI won't recommend uhaul at all. The ball joints are frozen in the rental truck the rear rt break was noisy and grabbing. I didn't even do what I had to do because of the condition of the vehicle.
