Kirk HArrived to find a note inside the truck that said the gas gauge said 2 miles to empty and to go to the nearest gas station to put fuel in the truck. And to try to return it to Storage Sense on a quarter of a tank and I’d receive a fuel credit. I spent all my money to rent the vehicle with just enough left to put the fuel in that I’d used, and ended up spending extra because the employees didn’t care enough to go put fuel in it before another customer was to drive it. Not all of us are made of money, and I’m pretty sure I haven’t seen a fuel credit for returning it with more than was in there to begin with. I was safe and turned the truck in as I was supposed to, fulfilled my end of the contract, but this place didn’t do the same. Pretty disappointed.

KEVIN MHook up the trailer properly! We drove approximately 1 mile & U-Haul trailer that was hooked by your specialist came unhooked and almost flipped and caused our vehicle tow vehicle to rock and feel like it would overturn. Luckily my wife whom was driving was able to slow down and controlled the situation to stop. With luck a couple of soldiers from Ft Johnson were behind us and the stopped as well as a man named Danny, whom said he worked for U-Haul and they were able to untangle the chains since that was the only thing holding the trailer to vehicle. Danny rehooked trailer, checked lights after reconnecting & used a large sledgehammer to secure trailer to our tow vehicle. Due to all this we stopped periodically to double check connection and lights. We took pictures of incident & called the U-Haul rep when it happened & she told us to hook back up & return. Danny said it wasn't necessary he could fix it & would stop by & charge U-Haul himself for the incident after I asked him what we owed him. I was told by the rep on the phone they would make a note of incident in the system. This incident along with trying to rent U-Haul trailer from Entrance Road whom tried to rent me a trailer with bald tires will definitely make me think twice before I rent again. Anyway, thoughts & experience from this Ole US Army retiree.
