The trailer had a non operable license plate light . and while on our trip across the country Wahington state to Texas the trailer had a flat tire which not only delayed us but caused us to have to get a motel room. Either that or be left out in the snow however help arrived to change the tie and changed both tires with new tires. But that did not keep us from having to spend extra money on a motel room half into our tripCarol F.

There are many things wrong with the truck I rented. The brakes are bad. The truck shakes so hard when driving 45 mph that it made me motion sick. The head lights needed adjustment. The truck was filthy. There was a pile of used blankets thrown in the back. Dog poo on the blankets. The person at this rental location drove the truck when I returned it unused, and said that the shaking was a tire rod that was broken and agreed the brakes are bad. Recognized the dirty condition. Then said it was someone's else fault. Not his. Never refunded any of my money. Offered me another rental truck when one comes in. It's been several days now and no replacement truck. My children and I have 3 days left to move and we are running out of time. I hope someone real reads this and can help us and make this right.PRATRINA C.
Callie at this location was wonderful. She answered the phone promptly and was very helpful with the drop off. There were difficulties in arranging the actual drop off. When I call Go Uhaul a woman named Helen told me I could not drop off the trailer at the Store N more location above. She directed us to drop off at Mr. Tire in Athold Id. I was told this would be added to the reservation. it was not. When my husband arrived at Mr Tire the fellow there refused to accept the drop off since it wasn't on the original contract and wouldn't look up the reservation online. This caused my husband 2 hours of unnecessary driving in less than optimal conditions. Thankfully Callie was able to accept the trailer.Michelle J.

The Associates for super rude didn't take the time to hook up the U-Haul for me nor check any of the lights or the trailer to make sure it was in good condition before I took it I had to do it myself had to make sure the lights worked myself im a regular renter form you guys especially within this last month i did not! Enjoy the service i received i will not be going back to this location ever agin for any reson when i droped off my last rental there they also didint unhook it 3 times now... I think is very unprofessional and then just yesterday on 9/8 19 i had an additional driver added on so she could be able to drive with the trailer which was my mom and then she went and dropped it off there yesterday and they wouldn't unhook it for her i was super umhappy and still am i thought uhaul had policies and standards for professionalism any other location they will check my trailer in the lights and hook it up for me and unhook it thank you for your time to read all of this have a garte day.Cristopher A.
There was a large hole on the front of the trailer that was taped over. The damage and tape seemed old. I was worried about being charged for the damage so I took images of the trailer, its location parked with other trailers and the business. I was told by the employee "don't worry about it, you bought the insurance."Martin O.

Fender was zip tied on. She said I could call a number once to the destination. I did and the local dealers would not except the dolly. Would have had to drive another hour in the wrong direction to return.Mitch F.

I have rented a UHaul trailer three times in the last few months. Every time the local business processes the forms on your website, the webpages freeze and crash, and then the information has to be re-entered. I waited an hour until the information was added and accepted, before the trailer was release to me. Every dealer said "UHAUL's website SUCKS". They hate it, I hate it, everyone hates it. What a joke. You are screwing your customers and the dealers renting your stuff. Also I reserved the trailer last night and paid via credit cards on the website. When I arrived to pick up the trailer, the dealer had to re-enter all my information AND run my credit card AGAIN. Then when I returned the trailer, the dealer was unable to check me in because of your POS website and the flunkies that programmed it. I left without any closure paperwork. WTF is going on with your rental system? I'm buying my own trailer and you guys can go fuck yourselves into bankruptcy.Norman A.

Don't go to the Newport Wa location unless you have 90mins to kill because that's how long it took them to do the paperwork. Every other customer was more important that us. Every time another custom walked in they stopped helping us and would go attend to their needs.Christopher S.

The pickup was difficult. The employee had problems with using the software program. Otherwise, good service. At drop off, the employee didn't check the truck in while I was there. Also receive a call later from the drop off office asking if the engine light was on. We had no problems with the truck or engine light coming on. I suggested he drive it and see if the engine light goes off.bette N.
I rented a 15' moving van and here was my experience: * There was a foot of snow left on the roof that blew off all over the highway throughout the trip. The tail lights were covered with snow and ice. They sent me out illegal. * After leaving the pickup dealer with the van and driving to where I was loading up, I found the roll-up door was frozen shut with well over an inch layer of solid ice at the door jamb; I had to chop through it with a hatchet and hammer. I then found the latch to be frozen solid as well. I had to use a crowbar to pry it up. The door mechanism was also broken, the cable on the door was off the spool, which altogether, made the door nearly impossible to open. It took me an hour to work the door open using a 2 x 4 as a pry bar which broke several times in the process. * What I found when I got the door open, was an inside that was filled with leaves and twigs and caked with dirt. Using a rake and a broom, I got it cleaned out but then had to pick up and bag all of the debris that was pushed out on to the ground. The inside needed washing but it was too cold and the water would have froze. * After I was done loading, it took another half hour to close the door. * I was late getting started on an eight hour drive and got back just in time for rush hour traffic, not to mention, my back ached the whole drive from trying to open and close the door. * Now repeat all of the above (except the cleaning) on arrival. It only took a half hour to get the door open because I had experience now. I lubed it up good so that it at least it closed easier. In all, not only was the truck in sad disrepair causing me a troubled and burdened delay, but I was also injured.Keith H.
