The U-Haul representative was helpful, and about the best I’ve ever seen at U-Haul. But, months ago I reserved a van at Minden, NV, but it was switched to Carson City a few days ago. Then, in the morning of my reservation day, U-Haul called to switch me to an even further out pick-up location, and also switched me from a van to a truck. It was supposed to be “no extra charge”, but it ended up with a higher per-mile rate, and with the much farther away pick-up/drop-off location, the tome and cost was much higher than I bargained for.
