Location feels remote, is dark, has poor reception. The lock box is not in a lit area and is at an awkward height to see the number pad on the lock while holding a flashlight. I was not able to complete the pickup process online; when I hit the “finish” button, I just got the spinning wheel of death. I had to phone to get it done and get the key code. Once I got into the vehicle, there was moving equipment left inside- trolley, hand truck, and blankets, left from the previous renter. I had no need or space for these and there was no where to leave them as this is a closed, unmanned location. I had not even booked from this location. Uhaul had changed my order unrequested, to this different location, adding miles to my trip and significant time to the pickup process. Uhaul doesn’t seem to give a hoot about customer satisfaction!
PAMELA FThere was a dolly and wheeled cart in the cab that I didn't order, it made it a little difficult to take corners with those beside me. Also, the driver's door was difficult to close properly. You had to use significant force to have it fully close properly. Otherwise, great truck and rental.
RYAN CManager of the establishment was not there to set it up, unable to answer the phone, and unable to make the appropriate arrangements ahead of time to ensure I could access the truck at the reserved time, resulting in a 30 minute delay while customer support fed me information to access the vehicle over the phone. Very disorganized.
Shaun LMore signage, it wasn’t obvious to call u-haul, a bit too much guess work involved and it was a sketchy site. Once we call the number, it was fine but a bit weird, our truck was the only vehicle there.
MARTIN SI did not book from this location. It was changed randomly and I did not have the time to get anything else. I had chosen to pick up at the counter, but this is an unmanned location so in the dark, windy, rainy night I had to fiddle with online pick up. The lock on the lock box is stiff and difficult to open as well as being awkwardly high for someone my height (5’4”). There is no light above the lockbox so hold the flashlight in your teeth and try to get the lock open…. I chose the other location because it is a place that I feel comfortable leaving my car overnight and for the day while I’m away. Not so much this substituted place, so then I needed a second person to help with pick up and drop off. I was not happy to have my chosen location changed hours before my pick up. When the agent phoned to tell me, she cheerfully said “no problem, it’s not much further, so still close for you “!! It makes it hard to keep using this company for vehicle rental. The truck itself was fine. It had obviously not been cleaned since the last user, but it was still in good condition
