The question about recommending location I wish not to answer, but you won’t let me move on unless I pick an answer because choosing location is based on convenience for me and I would’ve suppose for most people the convenience with Trump quality and service

Check in process takes too long (30+ minutes???) and I specifically requested no insurance and I was charged for insurance anyway. Truck was very dirty/dusty in the back I had to clean it out!

Sarah DThe uhaul at 1389 Atlantic Ave, Bedford-Stuyvesant, NY 11216 did not prepare my reserved vehicle so the 24/7 app did not work. The 1143 Clarkson Ave East Flatbush, NY 11212 had a vehicle but did not have any of the accessories and was further than the originally reserved location.

They switched my reservation without approval and then ended up not having the equipment reserved. the vehicle they had was filthy, left dust residue on our boxes, clothes and fabric covering. Definitely would look someplace else, as u-haul doesn’t care about their customer or their needs.
Brooke PThis was unfortunately one of the worst U-Haul experiences I have had. I had to wait thirty minutes upon arrival to be helped--person working the counter seemed to be in way over their head. Truck was absolutely disgusting--reeked of cigarettes, steering wheel and controls were grimy, cargo area was dirty. Truck was also below par mechanically--column shifter skipped gears, turn signals needed to be manually disengaged after each turn, rear cargo door was sticky. Overall a really disappointing rental.

Adedayo Lmy original reservation wasn’t available so i then had to pay for an uber to then go to a different location. i had to drive farther because of this updated location and was super late with my moving coordination plans. i was frustrated because it defeated the purpose of the reservation

Kelvin WThe truck I requested had been broken so they offered the cargo van instead, worked out fine still a bit frustrating. The back door lock was finicky, and it stalled me and my movers a bit. We figured it out on our own, but the location wasn't helpful. On top of that I accidentally locked the keys in the van. Again, my movers were pros and they were able to problem solve. No real help from UHaul. Would've been lost without my movers. Location was average.

India RTHE VAN WAS NOT SERVICED AT ALL THE VAN CUTT OF ON ME ON THE EXPRESSWAY IN A SNOWSTORM. THE BATTERY WAS DEAD THIS COULD OF HAD BEEN PREVENTED IF THEY CHECK THEIR. VEHICLE BEFORE RENTING I WAS VERY SCARED I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THAT LOCATION AGAIN Also i was over charged

Steven S9 footer was visibly damaged (side view mirror was hanging off) but tha attendant suggested i take it anyway. I then took a 10 footer instead. Had it for a little over an hour. When I received my receipt, I had been falsly charged for 2 days. Never dealing with this location again.

GLENDANICHOLA MThe truck was filled with trash from the previous renter, cups, cans and trash bags in the back. There was zero gas in the truck, it warned me that it had less than 5 miles before it would run out. I had to put gas in it, which I have never done for a Uhaul, because I put way too much in for the short distance I drove it. The response from the counter? "This is the only truck I have." Also, there was so much play in the wheel that it was terrifying to turn it. You had to overturn the wheel to get it to turn. I've never had a poor experience with Uhaul, I rent a lot. This was very different.

Alvaro MItems were still in the truck from a previous rental, they did not have the items that I reserved online in stock, the gas tank was not full, I was given keys to another truck that was boxing in my rental to move it out of the way myself, and the unprofessional attendants spent time talking amongst themselves before attending to me which greatly lengethened the process.

But after having renting my vehicle from this location, I was very pleased and satisfied with the level of Customer Service and the condition and cleanliness of the vehicle provided. This location gives U- Hual a Good Name.

ANDREUUS PThe van was dirty and had boxes, plastic wrap and debris inside the back. The side door also had garbage in it. The van was blocked in by the business across the street white van and we had to wait for the driver to leave off the UHAUL premises. The van was not in good running condition as well. The engine was stalling and messages kept coming up on the dashboard. I took a picture for proof. Overall, the experience was not a pleasant one.

michael fEmployees at location made me feel uncomfortable. Told me I was beautiful and continually asked to be my friend even though I said no multiple times. Extremely uncomfortable experience, made me feel bad and unsafe.
