The truck was parked in a back lot I had no attendant help me with any of the equipment the treads for the truck were covered in ice I slipped and fell on the asphalt from the upper tread. I drove the truck home loaded it got on the freeway and realized that the driver's door does not shut completely and the entire top of the door did not seal and the wind noise was unbearable could not even hear the radio. Single worst experience behind the wheel of a vehicle I've ever had you should have paid me to drive that piece of junk from Washington State to Idaho. The truck was dirty it had mud on both floorboards inside. The rear of the truck had debris and dirt throughout. I believe some sort of refund should be issued . Unacceptable that that door did not close it sounded like a jet plane screaming in my ear for eight and a half hours

Summit Heated Self Storage had excellent customer service, was prompt, their coffee was great for the few minutes I waited for my Uhaul truck and the cleanliness of the office and truck was great. I have rented from them before and I’m sure I will rent from them again. Their prices are, as far as I’m concerned, lower than the competitors prices, and I’m satisfied with that!! The uhaul people have charged unauthorized charges on my credit card, proceeded to process unsigned promissory notes without my knowledge and no signature AND when I called summit storage about the mechanical malfunctioning of the rental I was told that if it still drives- don't worry about it! Then you're saying that I drove that truck 173 miles when that is IMPOSSIBLE! I stayed in Tacoma, never went outside of a10 mile radius AND it was parked at the place I was staying overnight for EACH of the 3 stupid days i had it because I was having to complete a storage move out completely alone without help from anyone! Disputing credit charges- after you tried to charge 4 different amounts, back to back to back until you could get one to actually go through because my CARD WAS ALREADY AT ITS LIMIT! plus! I CONTACTED YOU VIA EMAIL- THEY WAY YOU TOLD ME TO, TO EXPLAIN THAT I WAS WORKING ON GETTING YOU PAID AND YOU NEVER ONCE CALLED ME, NEVER ASKED ME TO SIGN A PROMISSORY NOTE THAT YOU MADE UP TEN DAYS AGO AND WITHOUT MY SIGNATURE OR KNOWLEDGE AND YOUR TRUCK WAS MALFUNCTIONING THE ENTIRE TIME WHICH I IMMEDIATELY REPORTED TO SUMMIT STORAGE AND WAS TOLD THAT, "IF IT IS STILL DRIVING- THEN DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT! " YOUR FAULTY EQUIPMENT FALSIFIED MILES I'D NEVER HAVE EVEN BEEN ABLE TO HAVE DRIVEN WITHIN THE 3 PLACES I WAS GOING BACK AND FORTH TO! NO WAY EVER COULD I HAVE RACKED UP NEARLY 200 MILES WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 3 PLACES(PARKED OVERNIGHT EACH DAY AND NOT BEING DRIVEN! ) WITHIN A 10 MILES RADIUS IN THE CITY OF TACOMA! Lucas WI rented the uhaul for 24hrs. Upon returning I called and spoke with one of the ladies and explained that I was on my way and she said okay she would see me shortly. When I arrived 15 mins later, nobody was in office and there was a note on the door that read “we will return in 2 hours. Out running errands”. I didn’t know what to do in this case so I called the 1-800 uhaul phone number and the customer service rep told me to either leave the keys in the truck, lock the door and I’m free to leave or return the uhaul in 2 hours when someone is present. I decided to leave the truck as she said. I did take pictures of the trucks condition, the mileage it had at drop off as well as fuel level and I left summit heating storage a message. 4 days goes by and nobody has called, I had tried calling and would receive a voicemail, I have no clue if I owed uhaul or if uhaul Owed me etc…….no receipt had been sent via email etc…….finally a after a week, I call 800 uhaul again and make a complaint and they create a ticket and tell me that a regional manager would contact me in the next day or 2. 3 days later I get a call from a lady named Helen from uhaul and she leaves a voicemail stating that if I do not return the vehicle by noon that day, she would be forced to file and begin recovery efforts 👀excuse me?? WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT RENT FROM THIS SHADY PLACE! I’m still dealing with this and I’m not happy about it AT ALL
Tanya MThis location is the most unprofessional, rude and unethical place I have ever dealt with! They lied saying the gas tank was full when it wasn't. It was only at 3/4 tank. It was dirty also. I spent time taking pictures too. Was overcharged so I guess the next step is to cancel my card so you all do not get the money fraudulently.

Robin TThe location is not the issue. Its the return process. I scheduled for pickup and drop off at same location. When I went to drop off the same night I learned that even though my emailed agreement stated no drop off location and the online agreement stated that the drop off location was preferred and optional I still needed to drop the vehicle 15 miles from where I picked it up and 10 miles from where I moved to. To add insult to injury, I put well over 7/8 fuel in the tank and they still billed me for being under. I have used Uhaul for every move I have ever made in my 30 years as a it contractor moving state to state. I can honestly say I will never use Uhaul for anything ever again. No propane refill, hitch addition, self storage or even packing equipment. I would rather pay a premium price for services if it means not stressing out over issues that could easily be remediated with flexibility, good customer service and actual availability of staff.
