The lady at the desk was horrible rude called me a bitch and told me to leave because she charged me for another day after I return the truck. After being an hour late. I called U-Haul 1800 number and was told it was nothing they can do. I had to call the police and make a report.

Beverley RThe representative over charged me for the mileage when we both sat in the uhaul together and agreed what the mileage was upon returning it. Once I received the receipt and saw that it was incorrect I called and told him to correct the mileage and refund me the difference. He called me back after looking back at the mileage and told me he corrected it, but when I called uhaul customer service to make sure that he corrected it they told me it wasn't corrected so they had to correct it.
CRYSTAL KRepresentative work with us to get the truck. But he could not print out contract. So we did not have the milage in writing. When we were billed, $1 a mile, the bill was $5.00 short of $300.00. We did not drive more than 100 miles. We will not recommend this company to no one. It is a shame before God, to charge anyone this amount of money.

dexter dI called to get an extension on my rental for a couple of hours and they charge me $50.00 plus another days rentals because the guy said he had to pay another customer $50.00 because he didn’t have a truck for him. I have never had to pay another customer because I needed the truck a few hours longer. I have always used uhaul for moving and this experience was awful.

ESKIE CWhen I went to get the truck on 5/29/2020, I arrived at one location in Jonesboro where I was told to go when I made the reservation. When I arrived at the location, I was told it was the wrong location, and the representative sent me to another UHAUL location in Jonesboro. The next day I went to Decatur to get a UBOX to complete a loadshare for compensation. I WAITED FOR THREE HOURS in Decatur for a UBox load share trailer transfer, only to be told the location did not have the proper equipment for me to complete the load share. I was highly upset, as this was a waste of time. This took time away from the 13 hour trip I had to complete. I have asked to be partially compensated for my time and was told someone from UHAUL would call me on 6/1/2020. However, no one called me yet. This was my first time renting from UHAUL but my experience was not so pleasant.

Anne SUpon renting the truck, I was a bit worried that the clerk wasn’t very nice and friendly. Maybe he’s not a morning person because when I returned the truck a few hours later, he was an absolute joy. I was laughing at his jokes and he thought I was a blast because he was laughing just as much as I was.

Joycelyn PThe representative was friendly but the truck didn't have heat. the entire drive was terrible because it was cold and raining which made moving worse.
RACHEL PThe owner indicated the U-Haul was recently repaired and just out of the shop. However there was no heat in the 26-foot U-Haul and the brakes were sounding very bad. The mileage was incorrect and the gas was incorrect. There was some dirt left over and we swept it out. There was an old rusted curtain rod in the back of the U-Haul. It was not mine. However, the owner asked us to remove it. And we did. There should have been a reduction in the overall bill due to those two serious issues of no heat as well as brakes in much-needed repair. Instead, I paid the additional funds for the mileage. I am so glad that I don't have to rent from that U-Haul again. This is the second time in 30 days I've rented from there. The first time I ran from there the debit card would not go through. I needed to have a bank debit card and not a Walmart card. There seems to be issue after issue and I'm so glad that I won't have to ever come back there again. We were going to be charged $50 because there was a little dirt in the back. Luckily, we use the broom of U-Haul and I had some cleaning solution in my vehicle. I am so glad that my move is over and I am never looking back.

Ophee HMake sure customers know that a prepaid card is not accepted before going through the process of adding money on a card. If I had of known this, it could have saved me 2 hours. Because of the delay, I completed my move at 10 p.m. which is 2 hours Beyond the H O A recommended time. Hopefully I would not get fined since this is a first-time occurrence.
