I returned the truck with half a tank of gas. I had to park on a steep decline which made the tank fall below half a tank so you charged me, not good. Also, the website said I was at the wrong location when I clearly wasn't. The reservation process is clearly flawed on both pickup and drop offMarvin F.

Provide signage re where to park truck upon return rather than just signs where not to park. It was confusing to know where to park since the no parking sign at the entrance was unclear whether it referred to just the entranceway or to the whole parking lot. We drove around looking for an alternative and returned to the lot when there were no other options around the building.Marijo L.

PLEASE PLEASE let people know that the mobile sign in time takes 45 minutes when using your cell phone. I arrived at my pick up time and used an hour of my rental time signing in. Other than than â€” all was really great!! Very comfortable truck!!Kim F.
I was moving from Dadeville Al. To Lagrange Ga which is 48 miles. I had to pick up in Auburn Al which is approximately 22 miles from Dadeville then I had to drop off in Hogansville GA which is approximately 15 miles away from New house. They gave me 79 miles as part of the rental and I still went over 31 miles. Uhaul needs to take into account where customers have to pick up and drop off.EVELYN H.

Rented truck almost 4 weeks before moving date. On moving date I was sent to multiple locations to pick up â€œlocal truckâ€. Finally directed to third location and had to drive an additional 92 miles (2 hours) to pick up rental plus another 7.4 miles to pick up rental blankets at another location. Was only given an extra 80 miles for the â€œinconvenienceâ€ by Uhaul. Called corporate in the midst of all of this for assistance. Zero assistance or accommodation was provided.Douglas H.

We had a very frustrating experience with UHaul in general, and will be hesitant to ever use them again. We had a reservation for several weeks with no communication until less than 8 hours prior to pickup, received a confirmation for a truck that wasn't available, and received -0- help from the local Uhaul headquarters, or the 1-800 number. Fortunately, Jose at Sun Self Storage was who the confirmation was with, even though the truck UHaul had promised at his location wasn't available. I say fortunately, because Jose kept in contact with us, was able to find us a truck to use even though it was a different size, and then adjusted our contract to make it easier for us to return 30 miles closer to our destination. In both our phone conversations, and in-person contact, he was the only person at UHaul that we came into contact with that was helpful, professional, and portrayed a customer service attitude. Jose deserves a raise!!!! He was the epitome of customer service. My booking at another location was dropped so I reserved online at Jose's store. He called me an hour before pickup and said â€œthe haven't brought your U-Haul in but when it gets here I'll give you a callâ€ about 9:50 Jose calls me and says it's ready he's sweeping it out for me now. If this guy doesn't get the biggest Christmas bonus from y'all I swear! Thanks again Jose! I thought my day was going to suck but he showed otherwise!SETH M.

I discussed the gas differential and was told I would not be charged for gas since I had pictures, etc. I also explained the mobile app to take pictures doesn't work, etc. Even though I was verbally told I would not be charged for gas, I was charged for four gallons. I think UHaul is a fair value; BUT, I have been overcharged three of four times, including a $67 charge I disupted and have never heard back. My perception, since it has happened multiple times, is that you are scamming your customers.David C.

vehicle was fine. frustrated with the reservation and pickup process. Got sent to a different location than originally scheduled which delayed my start 2 hours after i needed the vehicle. this delayed the moving help so i paid the helpers an hour to do nothing.REGINALD B.

I arrived to pick up my truck to get notified on my phone that is was some how canceled after eating 26 mins to get a person on the phone I was than transferred over to a someone who could help . I rented a 20â€ foot truck and was given a 26' truck that I did not want. Once I get the truck I returned this on 5/1 and was told the additional day would not be credited back. After it was returned in less than 24 hours. Needless to say I've rented from U-Haul before and never experienced these issues. There are too many rental companies out there to give poor service too.Bill C.

The dolly was not in the truck like I'd reserved , since it's self pickup there was no way to get one for my move. Both moving companies to and from my old and new address canceled day of my move. I returned the truck clean and early and still got charged a mileage fee .Kymbria B.
