My pickup time was scheduled for 8:30 AM, but I did not receive the truck until 9:42 AM, which caused a significant delay to our moving schedule. On top of the quoted amount of approximately $392, the representative attempted to require an additional $100 deposit, stating that his computer was not working properly. I specifically chose counter pickup because I did not want to use the mobile app, yet I was forced to call customer service and download the app anyway in order to complete the transaction. I also paid for a dolly, which was not in the truck at pickup. My husband had to return to the location to retrieve it, costing us additional time. After the rental, we were charged an extra $77 with no clear explanation. This experience was frustrating, inefficient, and poorly managed from start to finish.
