The HVAC UNIT for my storage unit broke so I did not have controlled climate as I needed and paid for each month. We have had very hot temperatures this summer. When we moved and unpacked we found the broken air unit and high heat had caused a few issues with our property. We paid for controlled climate for a reason and did not get what we paid for part of the time.

The truck was awesome, not the slow cumbersome u hauls I remember. Drove well had plenty of power and could hold its own on the interstate. It's was a 26ft ford f650. I assume it had the 7.3 liter God zilla motor in it.

The lady was nice and efficient on everything except when I asked about a restroom. Instead of a “I’m sorry, we don’t have a public restroom “, she was rude and “smarty” about it. My wife said she should be fired for how she responded.

Best Storage in Jackson Tn

We booked through the app. We were not notified our pickup time was outside of office hours. Upon arrival, there was a note on the door indicating the location was closed for the day. The phone number they provided was to another U-Haul location, not someone who could help us get access to the truck we rented. The app stated we would get a call the day before the reservation to confirm details - we did not get a call. The app did not work properly - even with customer service on the phone. There was no ‘pick up option’. I had to download on a different phone to pickup. During pick up process, the app froze and did not allow me to upload all photos, including the fact that equipment we rented (appliance dolly) was missing. I had to go to another U-Haul location to then rent an appliance dolly. I was transferred to driver services where the wait was 15-20 minutes and then timed out and hung up on me. I called back to driver services and while on hold (another 15-20 mins), I was able to get live chat to document the missing equipment, but said they could not refund me until the truck was returned and reservation closed out. When I finally got in touch with driver services, they said they would make a note and have the district manager call me that day to approve refund. Never got a call. Upon truck return, the app froze again while adding photos. We had to get staff to help with the return. The people I worked with were very helpful, but the app and phone systems to access help, were NOT a good experience and very frustrating. I am a very tech savvy person, so this was not user error.

Ask for directions if the place because the lady that was on the phone with my boyfriend said whoever made your gps is stupid and people really need to learn how to read a map. and wood chips was all in the back when we got it and me and my boyfriend cleaned it out for y'all when we drop it off.im not doing no more business with this company with rude staff.

Overall I have been very pleased with all the previous uhaul rentals I've had. This time I was very disappointed and upset over the truck I was rented. everything seemed fine until I was unloading my possessions out of the truck and started finding wet and damaged items. The things I loaded were dry and not damaged at all. The truck evidently has a bad leak in the roof area and the evening it rained, my things got soaked and ruined. Very unpleased with this outcome and will be calling usual to try to get compensated for my items. If not than I will never rent from uhaul again and I'llale sireni to on Facebook to let ppl know what happened in my case.

And the lady that I talk was very helpful in helping me out with my move from Georgia in 2020 after I got to Jackson Tn I got to meet her was Ms Debbie she made my move so easy and I am so glad that I rent a place to put my belongings. Upon arrival after getting the lock open, which was rusty and very hard to unlock at the get it into the vehicle, it was not clean and the check engine light was on and I was on pins and needles the whole time until I got the U-Haul back, hoping that it would not break down the air was not up to satisfactory

This location is trying to scam me out of more money. I received a email stating everything were returned find and my total charge were $77.21 and this is what it is. On today I received two emails one stated I owe 14 dollars the second email stated i owe 44 dollars. You guys need to get it together I am paid in full.

So very accommodating, ecspecially for being a college student. As long as you communicate when you will put things into storage and when you will be pulling them out they will help you out about being charged for another month even tho you barley used that month they waved the fee for me. I really appreciated it. It was easy to get all the information and sign up for a storage and to close it was even easier. They are fairly clean and feel secure for protecting your belongings. I do recommend to call super storage of Jackson, TN if you plan to get a unit and to ask for avaliable options its was easier than trying to request one online. They also held the storage I wanted for me until I was ready to out my things in. I called 3 weeks ahead to request a storage unit to be held for me for when I moved out of my dorm. So sweet and so very accommodating. Thank you or much for the service!

Your website lied about fuel costs. The website said we’d be charged $4 per gallon if we didn’t return the fuel level. We drove around ten miles. So maybe we used a gallon. We dropped off the truck and were told the fuel cost was $18 plus an additional $30 convenience charge for a total of $48.

I firts went to your other location at the old Kmart building. What a nightmare mess! Rude and not caring service. The man wasn't even there to check me in so I had to wait. Then you cancelled my reservation even after I notified the facility. So I had to find another location and luckily I found this one. Super Storage saved my day!!!

The inside of the U-Haul had a Musty smell made driving it very uncomfortable should have been disinfected.

This location was not equipped to handle Truck Share 24/7, even though I was able to make a Truck Share 24/7 reservation online. The trucks are kept behind a locked gate. I had to go into the office and speak to an employee in order to pickup the truck. She informed me that they are not able to accommodate 24/7 pickup reservations.

We ordered an appliance dolly with the truck rental and there was not one The self storage lady on hwy 45 by-pass location said she only rented U-haul She was not U-haul. She was very rude and condescending toward us. We called U-haul back and the said the had a dolly at the old hickory store. They did not have one either That lady was very rude also. I will not be renting U-haul again.

Used the online Truck Share option in order to pick up truck before store opened. However, when arrived at location, truck was locked with pad lock and dolly was in the store. One hour and 15 minutes later, employee arrived. (15 minutes after the time that store was to open). She stated that it was raining hard when the truck came back the day prior but she had everything ready for us. She didn’t understand what was wrong on the U-Haul side The truck was padlocked and the dolly was in the store. Obviously the truck was not ready for Truck Share pick up. However she said that she would not charge us for Sunday because she was not open for drop off. We actually returned the truck on the same day.

I am BEYOND disappointed with this company and I will NEVER EVER use them again. In fact, I have friends moving soon and I convinced them to use Penske instead! Our first issue, we reserved our uhaul DAYS in advance. A rep never contacted us the night before (as promised). My husband then shows up at 6am (the agreed time for our rental) and there's not one available!! He and I are both on hold with Uhaul for a good 20 minutes before someone actually answers and says, " there's nothing she can really do..." which resulted in us looking at every other location and also pushed to debate driving 2 hours away just to do business with Penske!!! We waited around until 8 when the office opened only to be referred to a Uhaul pickup 45 minutes away. At this point, we've lost our movers (2 hour time frame) and still haven't gotten a truck. When my husband called to talk to someone about possibly reimbursing us for the money lost, they stated they "didn't have any promos for the summer" this had nothing to do with a promotional! They should have reimbursed us for the miscommunication and lack of professionalism!! ..and yet you guys still charged us for every single penny. Unbelievable. I would like to be contacted by someone in your company IF anyone cares to correct this issue.

This rating also applies to the Uhaul store located at 732 Old Hickory Blvd in Jackson, TN. The said manager there (a tall, stocky black man, who wore a face mask & no name tag) refused to honor the reservation that was originally set in place by the 173 Airways Blvd. store in Jackson, TN. The manager apparently did so for no other reason than because I initially preferred to, just simply, give no alternate contact number. I assumed Uhaul asked for this information as a way to be able to recoup any losses taken as a result of the rental, however, figured that my credit card information was enough. Even after presenting this same rationale, as well as giving my other cell phone number to the Uhaul employee (a young, black woman with large eyebrows also wearing no name tag) handling the actual sale, the manager still aggressively interrupted, refusing to honor the sale, with no explanation other than I did not meet renting requirements & telling me that I would not be renting one of "his" trucks. This all began very peacefully & it was not until the employee called the manager into the customer interaction in order to recieve an okay to accept one contact number that the experience turned sour. The manager told me I had to give another contact number. I replied by telling him I did not want to & that the number attached to the reservation was the number I wanted to be reached on. The manager turned seemingly angry by the brow & told me, ma'am, you know what, I'm just not going to allow the sale, you dont meet requirements. I told the manager I was sure that I did meet renting standards & then, directing my question at both the manager & the employee, asked exactly what requirements I failed to meet. The manager told me that I didn't have an alternate number to give. I explained to the manager, that I do indeed have an alternate number, it was just my initial preference not to give out the number, & I then, told my other cell phone number to the clerk. The manager told the clerk no, absolutely refused to explain company renting policy in detail & again refused to rent. This is discrimination, less than poor business practice, unfair practices toward the public, & failure to explain company use of personal information. Forgive me, but I don't rent Uhaul's often & I just wanted someone to simply explain why they were mandating an alternate contact number in order to complete the rental. I then called, trying to move the original Uhaul reservation to another location & was told by the female representative (who claimed to be at the corporate office), that only one contact number was necessary to complete the rental agreement. She told me that she could not switch the reservation to another store & I would have to create a new one due to the system showing the 732 Old Hickory Uhaul Store in the middle of completing my sale @ that time. I made no comment then, but I know there is no reason any sale should have been in proc

The agent at this location was very rude. She was doing her best not to be helpful with information I did not know. I feel if she did not want to deal with customers today, she should have closed. I have used this service several times in the past few months but never again at this location. I will do my best to encourage anyone I know NOT to use this location. I reserved a 10 x 10 for my 2 bedroom house. It was too small a unit. They quickly changed my contract to a 10 x 20. DO NOT like having to do this review to get refund. It was not known by workers.
