The U-Haul pick up and drop off experiences were bad. U-Haul changed both locations on us without making it clear this was (1) a possibility or (2) notifying us. An agent verbally confirmed a drop off location which was then changed on us. Absolutely abysmal experience. Customer service was rude and unhelpful.

The location where I picked up the U-Haul did not have the blankets that I required and so I had to go to the Hightstown Monroe office, which meant I had to make two trips instead of one.
Karen FEverything was great. Only thoughts were, truck needed a new muffler, and tires.
Celeste BI think the system and the way this was ran was very efficient. My only question was, if the truck is proven to be returned clean and ready for the next rental, why was I told to drop the keys in the drop box instead of the lock box for the next person? Now it’s not available.

WARD NThis location is just that, a location that stores the vehicle to rent and pick up from this place, requires the customer to do 100% of the paperwork online my experience to get the truck took me over an hour to complete before I could get the key out of the lock box. Customer service at u-haul.com was of no help. It was a very miserable experience. For what you pay to rent a truck should not require the customer to do all of the legwork to pick up your vehicle and to drop it off.

MAXIM R24/7 pickup is not customer friendly. Customer service waiting time is unexceptable. Kept getting cut off while being transferred to another operator. App sign in is confusing to get to lockbox. Ordered 3 pack of blankets that would be 18 blankets only 4 were on the truck and now way of correcting it so furniture may have gotten scratches. Drop off was not aney better. Would follow durecttions put in odometer reading and gas tool pictures and tried to continue it put me a loop back to the beginning. Had to call customer service wait exc. Spent all together 2 hours wasted on the phone . Explained about the blankets and still got charged. How do you think my experience was. EDGARDOL FDidn’t have the packing blankets I had ordered and the truck had a half tank of gas.
Jeffrey BRemote locations (not primary U-Haul centers) do not have any additional moving supplies like moving blankets, etc. That should be addressed.
Bruce AI had a few issues with this reservation: 1. The pickup location was changed the night before. The initial location, Pullens Garage, was within walking distance for me and the change definitely made things more complicated. 2. Not all the equipment that I had reserved was ready; trolleys, etc. So I had to go to two other locations to pickup the items. 3. The truck had a word lock on it and it was locked, so I had to contact the previous renter to get the code, thus creating another delay.

Joseph SThe people there did not know how to use the Uhaul portal. After many attempts to set up our documents so that we could take the 10' truck, they decided to contact Uhaul directly for assistance. Normally not to big of an issue, however it took about half an hour to get our truck. I have made previous rentals at different locations and the process was much easier in other locations. So I think that the people there need better training on how to use the Uhaul portal.

Charles BNot an actual U-Haul store, but a true working auto garage. Gentlemen at the garage was more than helpful though, very friendly, and very informative in info of the area, as my son was moving into. Calmed my feelings about the move.

JEFFREY DMy only negative feedback I rented the van on a Saturday and returned that weekend only to get a call on Tuesday asking me when I was going to return the van which concerned me. Never heard back from customer service again because I'm sure they found the rental exactly where it was parked.
Elizabeth FThe clerk was very friendly, we arrived 10 min before they open but he was there, opened the door and immediately processed my reservation. All done In less than 10 min. Time was vey important to me and fortunately we wasted NOTHING.

THANH NI had booked a truck for a location two miles from my home. At the scheduled time (10:00 a.m.) I went to pick it up and they didn't have my truck. Apparently my pick-up location had been moved at 9:19 a.m. to Robbinsville which was an hour round trip. This was a frustrating change and even more so because I had hired moving help through Uhaul's website to start at 10:30 and didn't get back until 11:30 with the truck. I lost a full hour of paid time for them because of this location change. Also, I had requested pads for the furniture and there weren't any at the new location. Unfortunately my desk and dresser were both scratched (the desktop is fairly ruined) because I didn't have enough of my own blankets to cover the furniture. To be clear, this is the fault of Uhaul, NOT the fault of the Robbinsville location. The gentleman there was helpful and the facility was clean.
