I got charged for insurance coverage that I did not request. When returning the van, I requested a receipt and did not get one. They said they would check the van later. I never received the 2nd final receipt. If I received it that day upon return of the van, I would have seen the extra charge of insurance.

On top of this, the retailer gave us a dirty truck and no information—just swiped our card and took our money.

WAYNE HBad experience when walking in on Friday unprofessional employee asked me download the App first , then no further help but tell me she also doesn’t know how to use the app to rent a U-Haul truck! Next After technical support helped to finish the procedure, it took more than half an hour. When returned, I received an unbelievable amount said the windshield damaged for $509, after discount I still had to pay $305. That’s ridiculous! I called 08/26,09/02/, each time I was told they would reopen the case and promised someone would call me back but no response.The technical support person even didn’t ask me check any window glasses, but only the body. I strongly suggest no more U-Haul trucks renting in this location or any if no friendly employees help

MIGUEL FThe location is fine. But we add about 40 dollars gasoline to move the clock one millimeter, I’m not sure if it is right… and the meter shows we used 100 miles. It is hard to believe that since we went from Alhambra and Dtla back and forth twice.

ZHONGGUANG CThis location feels unsafe and is not inviting whatsoever. In a rush to leave the area, we accidentally locked the keys in the Uhaul while trying to take photos of the odometer. Charging $200 for this is RIDICULOUS. I will never use u-haul again. Would rather hire people with trucks than deal with this unorganized place.
Sarah NI booked my reservation for a 15ft truck in Alhambra. A few days later I received a notification stating “ Hi Sergey, your U-Haul Order # 85898385 has been moved to a pickup location where we can guarantee availability. Please view and agree to these changes. This location was out of my way but ok that’s no big deal to make sure I can hpick kp the truck at agreed time. That agreed upon time was 6:30pm on Tuesday June 18. I went to the locating to pick up the truck. Wasn’t able to find one. Called the representative to find out where my truck was just to hear “we don’t have one for you”. So how was my experience? 0/10 would be fair. No one reached out to let me know the truck is not going to wait for me at the location. No one called to try and replace the truck. I was left hung out to dry. All my moving plans were completely ruined. As you can imagine. At least after an hour on the phone a representative directed me to a different location where I would pick up a different 10ft truck. But wait, there is more. When I got to the new location, the truck that was reserved for me was blocked by another truck so I couldn’t drive it of the lot. Yea 0/10. What can you improve? Hahah

roland wWas not informed or reminded that I needed to refuel back to the level it was given to me (which makes sense); I ended up paying any extra $9 for a gallon. I don’t like the surprise/unexpected charge. Usually rental companies remind you to get gas before returning the rental. Would have been nice to avoid unnecessary charges. The rental itself was fine. I was a little annoyed that they made me pick it up very last minute (an hour before they closed) because they weren’t able to let me do a pick up before 11am. I had to go in at 6pm the night before. Also didn’t like that they made me return it by noon and said someone else already reserved it after me. I was supposed to have it for longer (they allow 24hr) it was just very annoying all this was last minute so I was forced to agree with it or I wouldn’t have a U-Haul 🙄

GLENN HThe Uhaul app doesn't work. It kept refreshing the page on pick up your truck. I must spent almost an hour on the phone with an agent. She made me delete the Uhaul app and reinstall it and the same problem repeat again. Then I must use Google Chrome to sign in. Then I must call an agent when I return the truck and must sign in through Google chrome. Another lengthy process. The site kicked me out before I can take all the picture of the truck. I spent another length process to talk an agent to close out the rental contract.

Ruth RJust one minor issue.. when returning the 26' truck, there was two vehicles parked where the truck should be parked. I was unable to park appropriately, but at least I was able to not block the private vehicles from exiting the lot.

Troy LHi this location seemed to be doing some shady things. They tried charging me an additional $15 on top of paying $100 when I only drove a total of 18 miles and paid for 35. No Reimbursement was given to me and they tried to say my payment was declined but it was pending on my end.

RICHARD RI filled up the gas beyond what it had at time of rental and they charged me for 3 gallons??? I dont get it. I even checked the van in with the guy at the location.. he said everything was good and then i check the email bill and he slid 3 gallons of gas on there at $20 extra dollars.. I wont be use uhaul anymore because this seems to be a scam tactic. to squeeze more money out of you!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!
