My main complaint is with UHaul, not this location at all. I very, very much dislike that I cannot rely on UHaul to confirm and stand by a pickup location. I did not want this location and it resulted in extra mileage charges since it was so far away from where I was starting my move. I live in Maine and much of the state is rural with long distances between UHaul locations. This was a relatively minor issue THIS time, but I have had times in the oast when UHaul wants me to pick up a truck an hour or more from where I am or want to pick it up when there is a much, much closer location that is selected originally. To need to plan a moving day carefully and not know if you will need an hour or 2 more before you even start until right before the actual day is very stressful and potentially dangerous during an already stressful and long day of moving. This is a bad business practice from a customer point of view, even if it saves you money.

The UHaul website and app are both awful. My order didn't show up on either despite having "added an order" multiple times. I had to call customer service to find out if the boxes had been picked up and when they would be delivered. Customer service agents were universally helpful and pleasant. Boxes arrived two days later than predicted and now UHaul is trying to charge me for an additional monthly rental fee which I'm in the process of disputing. Your system is too fragmented and the digital interfaces are worthless. It's not that difficult to create a new tracking system (heck, just put airpods in each box) so we know where our boxes are. I wouldn't use UHaul again unless they do a major overhaul of their systems.

Adam NTruck I rented was a piece of crap and nearly out of gas when I got it.
William JWe found out an hr into our drive that the ball if was hooked to was way to small. Even after we asked the guy. Because it was moving a lot when we started to pull off. Then half way through our drive it got dark and we were informed by a person driving past we had no lights on the trailer even though the guy again checked the lights. He was very quick to hook it and get us going. Complained about u haul ingeneral

Mark WThe equipment was as expected. The rental process was as expected but if you're going to change the rental to give someone a better price, you should explain that to them when they rent it. I appreciate that they saved me money, but when I looked at the receipt and saw a much higher daily charge I was confused. Taking the 2 minutes to explain to the customer that by changing the daily rate to a package that includes xx miles it will save you money would have made a world of difference in my experience with SGS. Also, you took my drivers license so you could have typed in my name and address correctly.

Keith HCharged me an extra $25 because the blankets we returned weren’t folded albeit I was never informed that was required by UHall staff when the truck was initially picked-up. These guys said it was written down somewhere in the truck. C’mon … $25 to fold 12 blankets? This kind of nickel and dimming move felt greedy & totally gratuitous.

BECK SPeter was excellent. Professional, polite, and very patient. I watched him work with a customer who was very high maintenance, and what I saw a bit of a problem customer, and Peter was very understanding and helpful with him even though the customer was very difficult.

Alden CI filled out all your paperwork on line to expedite the check in procedure. Your server was down for an hour with me waiting to sign and get moving. I was late on my commitment. When I returned, your server was down again and I could not get a printed copy of my bill. I did wait and got an email copy, finally. Locally, no problems. From Uhaul support, most unsatisfactory.
Gary RThe van i rented was fine. But the 24/7 self-service rental process went poorly. The process relies on an app/internet access, and there is very minimal cell service at the location. Uploading all the required images took an extremely long time or did not work at all. I strongly recommend providing a wifi connection at this location to make the process viable.

Debra OWhen calling to ask questions the lady who answered the phone was very rude and didn't know anything about what they had for uhauls. Truck wouldn't stop saying it needed and oil change and the front of the truck was dirty, seats had hair and grass all over them and the dashboard was very dusty and the entire truck smelled of cat pee.
