Disappointing experience renting from U-Haul. The night before our pick-up, U-Haul called to say that no trucks were available in our area, despite having put in a reservation weeks in advance. We were offered a truck over an hour away. We drove an hour away, and waited for an hour and a half for our truck. We did not get the correct size truck that we reserved weeks in advance. Therefore, we had to supplement the smaller truck with a trailer. Trailer was available 30 minutes away. So we had to add more miles to pick-up the trailer. Extremely inconvenient and costly for us, considering we had a reservation. Induced way more stress than necessary. Could have been avoided if U-Haul accurately forecasted truck inventory availability greater than 24 hours out.

The person called me 2 days prior to night before scheduled pick up of truck and I was told basically sorry no dollys available and told me I could drive around and find one. I ended up going to ACE hardware and bought my own as I needed one for my move. Then the night before the lady signed out my truck to me at 5pm when knew wasn't picking truck up til 7am I had to call Uhaul and straighten up that mess.
