The location was convenient. The truck was dirty and there was brown water in the cup holders. The process to pick up the truck was slow but the drop off process was seamless.
NYLA JOne of the side mirror wouldn't move. The handle for the driver side window was broken. It was my first time and no one explained how to do the return. I had to call the 800 number
CHERYL VTruck itself really ran smooth. However: This was not a great reservation pick-up or drop-off experience. Didn’t know everything needed to be conducted through the U-Haul app; reservation pick-up location was incorrect - the confirmation email told me to go to Chelten Ave in Philly when the correct address was really on Armat Ave. showed up to Smoky’s return location prior to their close of business to deal with actual humans, but that experience wasn’t much better. I will not be doing another e-rental again with U-Haul. Truck smelled of cigarettes during time of pickup. Also, truck did not come with the dolly and moving blankets that I paid for with my reservation, so I overpaid for this contract.
Katie SI have been extremely disappointed with this service. It took them 1 hour 45 minutes to release the truck. I paid my movers for 2 hours whereas all they could do was 30 minutes because of the delay with the truck. I will never use uhaul again and will ask to be compensated for all the hours I paid the movers .

alhagi jThe vehicle was VERY noisy. I think the driver side door seal was the issue. I had to yell to be heard while driving.

CARLOS WYou need to inspect the trucks when clients rent them before and after so the next family will have a safe vehicle. Also, put enough gas in the vehicle not leave it near empty which is poor.

Dorene EFirst I request for a van when I arrived it was only one van there and it was recked so they gave me a truck instead which I didn’t need and cost me more money for gas and then charged my account for additional fees after I brought the truck back for mileage if I had got what I asked for it wouldn’t have been a problem

Kendall BThey over charged me $250. Did receive the usual until 3 hour later from reservation hour. My acutial cost for u hual was actually suppose to be less than $50 dollars. Truck was not clean, It was dirty. This is the worst company to use to move your stuff.
Tyfease mThe vehicle had a flat tire when we went to check ourselves in on the app. Luckily’s U-Haul’s customer service was extremely helpful and helped us find a solution. However, that is a compliment to the road assistance and customer service team, not the location.

Charlene GHowever, the rental truck wasn’t too clean in the driver and passenger area. I’m sure quick turn arounds make it hard for the staff to clean the driver/ passenger area of truck prior to the next rental. The staff was very pleasant, helpful, professional and polite. I would use this location again and recommend others as well!
Jan BMake sure the equipment doesn’t have parts broken and in need of repair, as well as doesn’t smell like cigarette smoke which is unpleasant or dangerous to others.

Joseph AYou can start by opening up on time. Verifying to see if the vehicle is clean as you say it is. Making sure the gas gauge is where it supposed to be. I am a perfectionist and expected a bit more for my money.
Kevin WThe customer service I received at this location this past weekend was above and beyond. I actually didn't realize what time they closed and arrived an hour late as the guys were going home and had already closed up the shop. Completely my fault, but they took the time to help me complete the rental before leaving for the day and provided detailed instructions on how and where to return the vehicle after hours. I'll definitely be using this location again.
