I dropped the truck off on Sunday, it was gone from their forecourt by Tuesday but I received no notification that they had booked the truck in or closed out the rental. I went to the location on Friday to ask why and they were not able to figure out why they hadn't closed out my reservation but had sent the truck out. They told me to call U Haul to get it resolved. The people at T&G did a great job, but the U-haul truck I rented was in poor mechanical condition. The truck had 140k miles on the odometer and mechanically showing it. Slack in steering wheel and sever vibration in drive train above 60 mph ( I think the driveshaft was out of balance or worn u-joints). I rent from U-haul about 2 times a year and will test drive my rental next time. I pity the person who rents this unit for a cross country move.Steve G.

well when i got the truck it was no where near 3/4 filled on gas which isn't a problem but i was forced to sign a paper saying it had 3/4 of a tank which wasn't accurate.Alyssa M.

I'm not really upset about the overall experience. Customer service was ok. Nothing excellent or horrible. I just dont understand such high pricing. Today, my boyfriend, brother and I decided to rent a uhaul as we were moving to stillwater. About 80 miles away. We moved to a place with a uhaul place right in front of us. Was just a quick one way. Only used for a few hours. Still cost us $115.00. Now, I know uhaul is a very large company and many consumers use uhaul. It is absolutely ridiculous to charge that much for such a simple move. This is the exact reason, we wont use uhaul for the remainder of our move. We will find other ways to get the rest of our things. A uhaul would be much easier but little old us cant afford to use you people. ThanksPortia P.

Have a rental truck closer to their location. I live in Pryor, wanted to rent in Pryor, but because there was nothing available, it cost me an extra $30.00 in mileage fees just to bring it back!Donna C.

Reserved vehicle in person and told them it was for two days. Picked up time on contract was correct, return time was not. Was told when I picked it up they had the truck reserved for Saturday morning, which had I need the truck long for my entire time it would not have been there. Called me on Friday to seen when I was returning the truck and I told them I would most likely be done with it that day. I did Return the truck within a 24 hour period and they were going to charge me for two days. Also when picking up the truck he offered the insurance of 14 dollars but did not indicate it was per day.John M.

Tried to rent on line (?T&G, name used, BUT if in the businesses bld. or if looking at their businesses card it's TNG or DKI???), had no indication reserve took. Decided easier to just call. I called T&G, & Roger Fisher told me he had none, till Monday. So called UHaul, after a 30 min. wait, CS opened my acct. & set rental up with Southside. Afterwards, got an email, I 2 trucks rented. Called an waited ANOTHER 30 min. to remove Southside rental. CS cleared up order, ASK me if I WANTED OPTIONAL INSURANCE or NOT, I DECLINED it. Picked up truck, all okay, but informed that truck had slow front right wheel leak, no problem. Due to heat exhaustion (2 ex large storage units to eliminate an put in back yard.), Sure day had to keep to start n finish 2 ND unit. Mon. morn., finished 2nd, returned for last optional load at farm. Truck filthy, opted to had wash n towel drey inside n out, & top off tank. Got to T&G, waited behind owner, basically stuck behind blabber mouth customer, so went outside & polished on truck, felt like inside biz I was an inconvenience. Finally got serviced, and told UHaul would send a receipt. 3 times I ask for total cost, I had even mentioned my tax exempt, an that I new I messed up & over used my gas goal. Finally I got him to give me a charge, I like to flipped. Milage I did, Ok can bite that. 3 days, that Ok used. HAD he told me I was being charged for 4 DAYS, Ok would have KEPT IT (Would have been a bit ticked off, bit would happy to have had ALL my moving done.). BUT if any thing, he actually made me feel like Ok was keeping him from ??? Then was informed that I'd been charged too for OPTIONAL insurance, WHAT? Was informed it wasn't optional n lil trucks ($40.). So insurance, $40.00 Extra day, $19.95 Tax exempt over charge, $27.84, Environment fee, that's fine. Practically $90.00, that's a BIG impact, when your on SSI.. I'm terribly disappointed. I used Southside, n didn't care for that biz, she wasn't much better, but this 2nd time, second experience, burned me. Called to begin a complaint, ANOTHER 30 min., then my phone died, so I'm guessing after this survey, ANOTHER 30 min. on waitng for a CS rep. AT THIS POINT, I'm exhausted. I had other obligations I needed to get done. Do feel like another UHaul rental, not really.penny C.

Don't over charge someone for truck rental. We had for 18hrs less than one 24hr period and got charged $58 when it should have been $29.95. Then they charged us for gas, saying it was HALF! full then we got it it was bwtwwwn 1/8th and 1/4 full so they proceeded to fill truck up at our expense and then charged us for filling it beyond where we got it THEN!charged us an additional $30 For a fill up fee. We should have been billed for a total of about it estimate somewhere between $75-$85. The Final bill we got charged was $173.58 which in our minds is not by anywhere correct.les D.

The online pickup experience was extremely poor. Three reps could not get it right - somehow the reps saw the reservation was under someone else's name - preposterous! I explained that I made the reservation, my daughter was the primary driver, and that I successfully logged into my acct to process the online pick-up because my reservation was approved before the store opened. submitted pics of both of us & our drivers licenses, and common sense still did not prevail. The toll-free number I was given by one of the reps had a voice message that the number was not yet set up. One of thexreps suggested I wait until the store opened!, while I had 4 reserved paid workers waiting for me. finally called the number that I received a call from yesterday confirming my reservation and the pickup loxation. That rep thought it through, and despite my ire, remained very calm and professional. I wish I could recall her name - she processed everything in less than 5 minutes - the other 3 reps i chatted with spent over 30 minutes tying up my phone and keeping the movers waiting on me. I recall two of those reps' names: Olivia and Nicole. You need to focus on better training of your reps - teach them to use their heafs instead of an off-the-shelfâ€ answer!Erin J.

I can not rate this location. Listed hours of operation for Saturday, the day I returned the vehicle were 0800-1200 hours. I arrived around 1000 hours and business was closed. I secured the vehicle and dropped the keys in a drop box.Peter M.
