Our pick up time was 9am, we arrived and the, seemingly, only one who was able to input our order was not there. So we had to wait for them to return. You cannot tell me they were unaware of our pickup time. I do place the blame on U-Haul for being difficult to deal with from all sides. Do better.
Cierra Bafter returning the van, the worker looked over the uhaul and replied, "Everything is fine! Life is good." Haven't heard anyone say, "Life is good" before. It made me smile! Thank you!

James cTed’s was not first choice. Fort McMurray location did not provide the promised truck even though I booked in April 2024. We had to drive 6 hours to get a truck with little assistance from U-Haul. Extremely disappointed Truck was marked and scratched up, interior had spills. Picked up in pouring rain. Was given keys and we walked through mud to get to the unit.

steve hOuter rear tires were overdue for changing which makes them unsafe on snow and ice. This made for a sketchy trip as we had slippery road conditions. Safety should be your number one consideration.
ELESTON DTwo trailer tires were bald and should never have been sent out that way. We lost both tires on the trip!

Andre BWorst company ever!!!! I can’t believe the terrible service they provide. I was wrongfully charged for a “missing” item I never received!!!! Now I have to wait days for this locations manager to “review” something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place the guy literally charged me on purpose!!! Basically said he would too. The unprofessional comments, texting, and language!!! I was told “I get bad service because of my swear” AFTER I was told to just put the truck on the road anywhere and hung up on and I asked to be spoken to with respect and as a customer!! The person I called to help was rude and careless. This company has really gone down hill I HIGHLY do NOT recommend!! Not to mention…. The place I picked up the truck told be basically he couldn’t care less about Uhaul and the truck is trash… and good luck on my move. Like actually!!! I’m not kidding or making it up. I wish I was. I’ve moved with Uhaul trucks a few times and this is the absolute worst I have ever seen, nobody cares about their job at least not the people I came into contact with this time around.

Dominic BInformation was not given if truck was bought back late. When you pull ul to the location theres a gate thats locked. Which also makes a customer think why park it on themain road as the driveway aint big.

Pam CI was told that the equipment I reserved would be there and then told the day before that the location didn't have the trailer I reserved. The nearest one was over 100 miles away which would have made it an extra 200 miles on to the truck I had rented. They were unwilling to keep their word on confirming my equipment and were unwilling to bring the trailer to my location as I had originally requested. All of this on the day before I was supposed to pick everything up. Nothing against the agent where I picked up the equipment. Absolutely no confidence in U-Haul!!! If there was competition that cost a bit more, I would use the competition in the future.
COLIN YU-haul was dirty, and had to clean and disinfect myself. Had to go way out of my way to go pick up, and drop off.

Susan GWhen i returned the truck next day, even earlier before drop off time. I met a staff who was helpful, took the keys but could not complete delivery paperwork as he is not the one in charge. I think this leaves room for disputes and issues subsequently. I had a very serious concern with the deduction of $1944.22 from my credit card that was not supposed to be. This was after paying the normal fee of $172.20 for the distance between Cold lake and Lac-la-biche. This is a 149Km drive. I received a receipt claiming an extra 4629.1 miles, and subsequent charge of $1851.64 and $92.58 for GST tax, totaling 1944.22. The vehicle i rented is in Kilometers, not miles. This is very concerning and needs to be reviewed and deduction in error corrected. Needs to be looked out for in subsequent customer interactions too. U-haul is known to be very efficient and diligent, therefore business locations should also ensure this value is maintained and customers have confident in the transactions. I am pretty much concerned as to the issue, so i will choose to stay neutral on recommending the location at this time.
