I had just finished moving from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. and could have returned the U-Haul then, but I chose to wait and return it around 10 a.m., hoping the in-person process would be easier. Instead, I was told to complete everything through the app with no real guidance or support. I expected that being there in person would make it smoother, but it felt like I was left to figure it out on my own. If I didn’t already have the app or wasn’t tech-savvy, I don’t know what they would’ve done—there were no alternatives offered. My boyfriend had a similar experience during pickup and also received attitude. Neither of us spoke up because we were absolutely exhausted. I’ve rented from U-Haul many times and never had service this unwelcoming. This location needs to improve how it treats customers, especially those going through something as exhausting as a move.
