I reserved a van at one location. Was using app as we picked up on a Sunday when all rental places were closed. When we arrived, no vehicle was assigned. There was no lockbox for a key. I called customer service, was placed on hold for 25 minutes, transferred and on hold another 30 minutes and then was disconnected. Had to call back and was finally helped. Had to change reservation and go to another pickup location and finally was able to obtain a vehicle. This process took over and hour and a half. This put us behind and completely threw off the day. Very frustrating and inconvenient.

Your mobile process is incredibly burdensome and awful. Over 1 hour just to pick up, and even drop off was botched, a CS said they'd address the issue (I have a chat history receipt) but come to find FOUR days later, they never checked the truck in. Three times we've used mobile to pick up and drop off and every time has been an absolute hassle. I will never rent a U-Haul again without going to a counter and taking to a person. I wouldn't have used it this time but apparently the van we reserved was reported stolen and we had to change to a 15' truck.

Sharon MI have to say the customer service rep that helped me was amazing. I feel she went above and beyond. I originally booked a truck for pickup at 530p for 8.4.23 through Hometown Storage and whenbwe arrived at 5.32p there was noone there for me to be able to pick up the truck. We lost an hour of daylight working through that, but your customer service rep that i spoke to, took care of us immediately and send us just down the road to another location. With this Texas heat, her customer service made a difference. Thank her for me please
