I booked a truck for 9 AM pick up via the app. The truck assigned to me was parked behind two other trucks and therefore could not be retrieved. Two other customers arrived and also could not retrieve their trucks. The location did not open until 10 AM; the worker arrived 15 minutes late at 10:15 AM. He had to deal with 3 unhappy customers and seemed to have trouble locating the correct keys for the trucks. While waiting I spoke to several customer service agents on the phone. One said she would add something called a $50 guarantee to my account which I assumed was a credit for the inconvenience. There was no credit when I received the receipt, I paid the full amount for very poor service. I will not use this location again.
Earl BLocation looks like a fire hazard, muddy and a health danger with crap all over the place. Office looks like it will fall down or go up in flames with all the heater. The person was well asleep when I entered. I was told to grab the van by climbing over tires and a ver tight squeeze between other trucks. Found a cockroach in the window well which is so wrong and put me in fear for my product and my own personal safety. When I returned I was called stupid from the neighbour car shop because I couldn’t find a spot to return van. I had to put the van into an even smaller spot. This place needs to be shut down!! I am thinking of reporting the location for insafe working business. Not happy at all wish I could give them a negative rating.

MAURICE CThe representative was very rude, not attentive. Lot was very disorganized, no structure to where trucks were parked. Took a long time to be able to leave the lot. When we returned the key, the representative called the next day and asked where the key was as he had misplaced it. We had dropped it in the key box.

Conor H- The lot itself is quite unsightly. I know they only need to provide space for trucks but it's not a great look on your brand. There are used cars for sale or for scrap all over the place. - They have four lock boxes but only two numbers. There are two lockbox #1's and two lockbox #2's. It took extra time to retrieve the key because the first one we opened was empty. The locks are quite stiff too, so even getting them off is a bit more difficult that it should be. -My biggest issue is that I ordered a flat dolly and six furniture pads. When I got into the truck, it was empty. I tried calling the shop and didn't hear back for an hour. My reservation was at 9am and the first call was made around 9:15 - 9:25. I didn't hear back until 10:30 (even though the shop opens at 10). When I got ahold of the shop, he told me they do not rent equipment for one-way trips. I was picking up in Toronto and returning in Elora. I was told by Uhaul head office that this is not an actual policy. Whether he lied or not, I shouldn't have been able to reserve the equipment if it wasn't available. I was moving with my 74-year-old father, so I rented the dolly because it would help him physically. On top of that, I was still charged for the equipment. I had to call Uhaul at the end of a very long day to get the refund. Very poor customer service all around. This franchisee does not represent your business well at all.
Matt CA very smooth experience. We needed a van at the last minute and luckily they had one available. The representative at the desk was friendly and efficient. We were in and out in no time. We took a few hours to move some furniture and dropped the key in the after-hours box. Overall exactly as we hoped it would be.

PRASHANTH HVery pleased with the service of franchise owner Sahid. He was very friendly and flexible and accommodating and went out of his way to make it a good customer experience. He understood our needs and made good recommendations for the best vehicle size for the move. He was very fair and honest about the charges. The invoice was perfectly accurate. We will use this location again. He made us feel very relaxed and at ease in view of a Sunday move in downtown Toronto during the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Thank you!

MAURICE Ceverything was great I went to get the U-Haul today for my move and it was fast and easy! The gentleman that helped me this morning was kind and made sure I was good to go! When I brought it back it was smooth as well! I haven’t moved in a long time so that in itself is stressful ! but I would recommend! 5⭐️
Trina LUpon arrival, the attendant was nowhere to be found even thought the shop was fully open. I had to wait 30mins, but some people were waiting for 1h there. When he arrived, he was incredibly dry and dismissive to everyone. I was also charged for a dolly even though they didn’t have any. He said he was going to take it off my account but never did. Never using or recommending U-Haul again.

Kaitlyn ABlindly charger 135 with no explanation for a 19.99 in town quick move. Tire was leaking air they were late opening and place was moldy and depressing they dkn stole from me and im getting my money back
kyle wThe staffed hours are not good. There was a man there who was trying to pick up a van when I was dropping off and there was no one there to help. We tried calling the 1-800 number but were on hold. If there was staff there, there would have been no issue.
Deb BReally solid representative at the counter. All good. A bit expensive for kms but not sure how those costs compare to others. As always, the ramp on the truck was super helpful. All around, I really enjoyed the day with the truck.
MAGIL DHave location open on time. Waited for 30 minutes for location operator to arrive as I tried for 20 minutes to arrange another location via phone.
