I was originally quoted $363.75 over the phone for the rental mileage and period, however when I received my initial contract the charges were $467.47. I made the decision to go with U-Haul over another rental based on this phone quote. The additional tax and fees were never mentioned but should have been. The vehicle was missing when I arrived at the scheduled 5:00 pm pickup time and the Pryor agent didn't know where it was or when it would arrive. The vehicle ultimately arrived at 6:15 pm, after business hours. The agent contacted me but didn't wanted to stay the 10 minutes it would take me to arrive, so they asked me to call the Tulsa location since they stay open later. I did so and after several attempts I was able to access the vehicle. A warning light came on immediately on starting the vehicle. I contacted the Tulsa agent and who told me to call roadside service. I called roadside service who proceeded to ask me to do an inspection of the vehicle tires, which I'm not qualified to do. After I crawled around under the vehicle for a moment looking for “obvious signs” of damage she told me it should be good to drive. The warning light stayed on throughout its use. The cab interior was filthy so I cleaned it. The driver's door window had a broken handle and was inoperable. The driver's door would not close without slamming it shut. The cab dashboard was broken and rattled throughout its use. I returned the vehicle at 2:00 pm on the schedule day with a little over 7/8 of tank of gas, it’s marked on my receipt as little more than 3/4 tank. Which is not an issue for me except that it highlights this locations lack of attention to service and detail. I’ve rented from other U-Haul locations before without issue, I will not be renting from this one again.

BRIAN QMake sure the truck is clean, folded up sign and sticky floor at pickup. Ensure vehicles are maintenanced between long distance trips. Electrical issues with power in truck, lost all screens, gauges, radio, AC in the middle of a drive. Likely not this locations fault , not sure of U-Haul policy.
BREANNA DThe reservation sent me to another location 24 miles away which did now have either of the items I had reserved. I then had to drive to another location 15 miles away to get the cat dolly I had reserved @$1 per mile. I’ll never use U Haul again.

JAMES BAgain dealing with someone who seemed to have no idea what they were doing. Very angry about the extra amounts I was charged at drop off. I will never be using U-Haul ever again. Penske will be getting all of my business in the future. My whole experience with U-Haul has been absolute trash.

Because the sign on the door was confusing to me and folks with a handycapp due to reading skills don't have the ability to understand a curled piece of paper in the window of the door. Just saying.
