I was sent an email to suggest after hours check-in with mobile phone. The location did not have a key drop box and they did not answer phone or return message.

Given one return location on documents and another on text message! Then phone calls telling me on wrong I was and should have used the text msg!

I was switched to this location by central dispatch. The staff had difficulty working thru the computer system. I was given wrong information about the availability of furniture pads at this location. The staff did work thru the problem and eventually fixed the problems in my contract that occurred because of the original switch in location.

From a customer standpoint,Ive just had the most terrible and shabby treatment I have ever experienced. I willnever be a return customer of U-HAUL ever again and will advise everyone I can to never use U-HAUL services as I thing they are dishonest and careless about customer satisfaction.

When someone did show up he was very helpful, however there was nobody there when we got there ( 2 hours before closing) so we did the on line return.

Company worker should be more organized and communicate more effectively with customers. I was able to walk into office and locate truck keys without worker present. Worker did not return phone calls to help me locate the keys to the u-haul.

We did not pick this dealer. A friend was using the moving service and we needed help with loading a uhaul to drive one way. Owner said he was a uhaul dealer also in Mokena and got us a truck. He had given us the rate that we found on the internet. The moving services were quoted for 2 people at a minimum of 2 hrs at a set price per person and the next day the quote was minimum of 2 1/2 hrs. On the day of loading the owner called at 9:00am and left a message. I called him back a few minutes later and we discussed which location for the movers to meet us at. He asked if we would like one of them to drive the the truck and the other one would follow to the location since they were going to meet us there. I thought how nice of him to do that. The mover called at 9:30 and our meet time was 10:00. He said he still needed to fuel the truck and would be there at 10:00. The drive from Mokena to Tinley Park is 18 minutes. Little did I know when the bill was written up after everything was done it said 9:00 for their start time and I asked "why was I being charged for their services starting at 9:00" he said because we drove the truck up our clock time was 9:00 when we showed up at the uhaul location. This cost us $88 an hour for each person. Nothing was ever mentioned about there being any charge for this. We would have picked up the truck ourselves. I guess we paid to have them fuel the truck and anything else they did for 42 minutes because travel time was only 18 minutes. Also as the bill was being written up inside the truck the mover was smoking in the truck just before we were going to be driving it. Our friends who had also used them felt they were charged for extra time and was more than they were quoted. Needless to say our friends have a big move coming up and will not be using this company again either. Make sure you get everything in writing.

In addition to the pick up location being changed, the drop of location was changed too at last minute. There was very little signs to find, I circled several times before seeing a glimpse of the trucks to know that was a location for drop off, because there wasn't anyone there I had to navigate the ap to return truck which if you have never done before is a bit time confusing and time consuming.
