Great business to rent from. Personal and knowledgeable.
ROBERT BI had someone call and give them payment information because they were not going to be there and we had drove 3.5 hours. The person who was working had no clue what was going on, I didnt have the funding to cover it and then someone else there covered it. They need to COMMUNICATE with the other people that will be working that day. Now I have to hope that the person not intending to pay will be reimbursed by the person that had called and given them the information and set everything up the day before. Very disgusted and not like moving wasn't hard enough.

GARY SThe trailer did the job it was just worrisome. I was expecting the trailer to have the same locking mechanism as the open trailers but it was the tow and go which I wasn’t a fan of. We had to go to Lacrosse to take some stuff to one of the kids and we thought the trailer was going to come off.

PETER VFound a small screw in one the tires once I got the trailer home. Not a big deal since it was small enough to not puncture the tire. The trailer floor had a slight coating of oil enough to make it slippery however not enough to mark as not clean. Minor stuff and check out and check in was flawless and both location the tech was cordial and very helpful.

ROBERT TThe truck had something wrong with it electrical or maybe a sensor, but the radio would not work, the charging ports would not work and the AC switched off and on from blowing cold air to hot air driving from WI to KY in 90degree humid weather. In addition, the truck got so hot on the inside it was burning our feet. We had to stop several times to let it cool down. An 8 hour drive took us 12 hours bc we had to keep stopping and letting it cool down. I was very worried it was going to start on fire bc of how hot it was. It was a miserable rental truck that made the trip almost unbearable. I’d like to discuss a partial refund.

WADE ZWe’ve used other uhaul rental locations but after coming to the Hang Up the first time and having such a great and positive experience, this is our go to place whenever we need to get a uhaul rental! Barry was great to work with! Highly recommend!!
MICHAEL GThe parking lot is a little small and tightly packed with equipment. However, the (older) gentleman (Mr. Bill Casper?) in charge of the business gets a 100% PLUS rating from me. The service that I received from Mr. Casper was stellar in every way. I went to several locations locally and also tried online to locate equipment. The U-haul website was non-responsive and TOTALLY unusable that day, so I was fortunate to contact "The Hang Up"/Mr. Casper that day as he was able to complete the transaction by hand/without the use of a computer. I myself am and older gentleman (69) and greatly appreciate Mr. Casper's skillset and experience. Unfortunately, he/we are a dying breed, and (IMHO) the younger generation simply does not possess the knowledge and/or skills needed to function on their own/without the use of computers and or/AI. I cannot say enough of how thankful and appreciative I am/was for Mr. Casper.

NEIL BOnly problem we had was with the app. They wanted a phone number to verify who I was. The app never said they were going to call that person as soon as I entered it. They called and woke up that person at 5:30am. The person who called that number did not give much information and was very quick to hang up the phone. Needless to say my friend was very unhappy with U-haul. If I ever rent from U-haul again I will not be using the app.

SARAH BWent to rent a car hauler, first one I was given was broken at the coupler, covered in snow and ice as well. Second hauler they provided had a build up of snow and ice that wasn’t cleared off and was told “it should break free on the drive”. I took their word for it as I was limited on options and it was an emergency. The ice didn’t break free during the drive and instead I had to use a hammer and chisel to free the straps and the ratchet in order to tie down the vehicle I needed the hauler for. After dealing with that and dropping the hauler off for the night I scheduled a callback in order to voice my complaints about the poorly prepared hauler and when I was finally able to get in touch with someone who I was told was the “district manager” I was met with nothing more than excuses as to why the haulers were in poor condition, it snowed three days prior, and that because I chose to use the hauler, he couldn’t provide any sort of partial or full refund. I went through with the rental because it was an emergency and my options were limited, given the time of day I had picked the hauler up. All they needed to do was clear the ice off before the pick up and it would’ve saved me an additional trip to pick tools up to remove the snow and ice and 25 minutes trying to make the hauler work for us in 15° weather. Then after having the audacity to tell me it’s my fault for choosing to go through with the rental, the manager offered me a discount for a future use. Safe to say I will choose not to use them again.

KATE NUhauls assessment of my use of the equipment was wrong and slowed the process. It was the worst part of the rental, and that's not the locations fault.
PATRICK SFor the pictures regarding the state of the rented equipment post drop-off, there are two unnecessary photos I had to take. They were regarding vans and taking pictures with the door/trunk door open. I do not remember exactly but I know they did not pertain to the tow dolly that I rented. I think it would be best if we did not have to submit a photo for them, or if they weren't included at all.
JAKE SThey worked with me even when the electrical did not work on the trailer. He checked my connection then replaced the extension wire on their trailer only to find that did not fix the issue. Then offered me a bigger trailer to get me on my way
