We had an a car hauler reserved that U-haul said would fit our F-250 truck. The reservation got moved to a different location and somehow the reservation was modified to an F-250 with some other description in their system. We picked up the hauler, as we needed it, at the last possible minute of the day and returned it when it wouldn't fit the truck first thing in the morning. We were charged $59.56 and didn't even use the hauler as it wasn't safe to do so. The Original reservation had the description of the truck correct. U-haul was incorrect in ever making us a reservation in the first place. Samantha, the Regional manager (?), didn't seem to understand that U-Haul told us in the very beginning that the trailer would fit the truck. We would have had more time to find optional transport from the initial time of making the reservation. As it was, we had less than 24 hours to figure out how to move the vehicle.

Our return date was a Monday and they are not open on Mondays. Per their directions we left the vehicle on the roadway and put the keys in a drop box. This system left the back unlocked with the two moving dollies and moving blankets we rented unsecured. You are then prompted to call the number provided, which we did and got no answer so a message was left. No follow up phone call or text or email was giving to us to assure us the return was intact. I finally called the establishment Tuesday afternoon to make sure all was good. It was thank goodness. The drop location unfortunately isn't the best. There is a homeless encampment VERY close to it Malinga it unsafe to leave things unlocked. Just my opinion

Ed UAfter driving 600 miles I had an email with a drop off location and date. After arriving at a nasty 1/2 hot tub rental place a guy told me okay just leave the keys inside and you can leave. So I did so thinking he surely new we we're coming. WRONG!!! After two minutes and almost getting home I get a call that said no your drop off location is in a different city a few minutes away and I can go drop it off there. I explained that no, it’s in my email. He said “oh that’s weird” well you’ll be fined an extra $200 or so if you don’t take it there today. So, that’s what I do. But to my wonderful surprise the place is closed on Monday's!!!! So back home to our city over night till we can drop it off the next day. We then were happy to shop in a homely flea market antique shop as we waited to return our truck. Moral of the story, don’t rent from U-Haul. Myself and my friends and family surely won’t. Especially not for over a $600 charge for all the hassle.
JORDAN BI went to SCI spas in Lewiston Idaho and they booked a U-Haul that they didn't have very poor customer service so I went to the hanger in Clarkston excellent service very clean trucks highly recommend them

PAUL JI wouldn’t say the place was dirty and that the people were not helpful. It was just not what I expected. I waited in line for over 40 minutes while the clerk painstakingly wrapped newspaper around several small porcelain figures. There was just the one clerk. Other people left and then the clerk just took the key. A one minute exchange. The antique store was very crowded with displays and merchandise.
Debra HThe inside of the trailer was clean, the outside was not (it was winter weather), the trailer did not have a trailer jack (it had been stolen). I should add that I towed the trailer for 1200 miles and had no issues, it worked great.

Jedrek WThey have 24 hour drop off at this location but there is no signage that's readily visible with instructions. If there was, we sure didn't see it. We had to call to get instructions on what to do, etc. We had to leave the uhaul on the street which was kind of scary considering we were responsible for it.

Terry MI was told to drop of the trailer I had in Moscow Idaho uhaul location , got there, was told they could not take it because they were full and no room for it! I had to drive 40 miles out of my way to drop it off! Then I had to drive back 40 miles just to get back to where I stared in Moscow
Detlef AThe location and their customer service were great. Uhaul on the other hand is terrible. The app is a wreck! It wouldn't even load on my phone in great cell reception. If it weren't for the nice woman who came in early I would have been stick trying to get the app to send me a verification email for hours. She made it quick and easy. I will not use u haul again unless I am dealing face to face with an employee. Your app and website suck.

Mark VThe front gate was locked, so I was lucky enough to see that there was a back entrance where I was able to enter and park. I could not find the key box because the lot is so large. Some additional signage would be helpful for this drop off location.

I was obviously the very first UHaul drop off; the clerk had not yet been trained on taking in returning vehicles. However, she was friendly.
