2nd experience with this location. Both times the reservation was made/paid online. When we arrived at the location, doors are locked with a sign to call and the owner can meet us within around 20 minutes. Both times we waited over 40 minutes. After the owner arrives, we have to wait for the computer to load, review the contract, verbally verify information, pick out which trailer, go back in and assign it.........Both times we have left the facility more than 1 hour past our reservation time. We have needed the trailer to pick up items we purchased online through Craigslist and were meeting other people at a neutral location. So the owners inability to have our reservation ready does not just impact us, but the lives of the people waiting on us. We will not rent from here again. This last experience was infuriating.Selena S.

Nice gentlemen at the location. Very polite. The pick up location and timing were a great fit for my trip and hauling needs. The location is clearly a low volume location given the size of the community. Folks renting from this location should not anticipate a service desk and the staff of a higher volume location.Thomas S.

The service from the Moose Lake location was great and will recommend doing business with them. On another note...The corporate U-Haul customer service department and scheduling personnel need to overhauled, especially the online and smartphone app! If you have to call and extend the rental, you'll spend 25 to 30 minutes each time you call! When you drop off the vehicle and the location is closed, you could end up like I did and the smartphone app wouldn't work due to the cellular system being overloaded. I even tried going to a wifi hotspot and couldn't access their system. After spending over an hour to return the truck by smartphone. I gave up and left the keys in the drop box. I then went home to where my internet access was good, but their online system wouldn't work because you have to be with the truck. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with corporate representatives and got nothing, but frustrated! They could not offer any help or solution and said that due to not registering the drop off, even though I had taken a picture of the dash showing the truck ID, mileage, and tank level, there would be extra charges...They wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor or give me any names or direct phone numbers, so I could spend another hour or more trying to straighten this out after the truck was checked in the morning. The system they had 2 years ago was so much more convenient and faster. I won't do business with the corporation any more! The local guy took care of me and cut my bill by 1/3 and he'll get my business again! The U-Haul Corporation SUCKS!Robert B.

The 24/7 pickup using the app was terrible. After more than 15 minutes - with no interim response to chat I sent - location owner contacted u-haul district manager, who interrupted the online pickup process and completed over the phone with me. Thank goodness location owner was there to help!!Mike S.

Have a rep available at the office not go to their doctors and abandon their post with no means available to obtain a key and then have inept telephone operators answering the phone that refuse to give you the code so that we may obtain our key to the truck that I had already paid for bad bad badDiane S.

Here's the thing, you guys need a program that will update your system online!!! After I booked it, I received a call from a very nice lady to tell me that they don't have the U-Haul I booked 2/3hrs ago at that location. Then I called the next day, I was told on the phone that I had to do a â€œone wayâ€ then the next day after I parked my truck in Forest lake, I get a text with the address to drop off in moose lake. So I ended up spending more time, gas, money and effort than needed. Not happy and probably won't use for a long time. And yes, of course I complained to my friend!!!Garrett L.

The person at Moose Lake is rarely there. I had talked to him by phone about a trailer that was there. By phone only. Was told we had to get on internet to reserve. It is not a station where someone is there. Once we made the reservation by computer, Jennifer at U-Haul called us to say that he had rented out the trailer and the closest would be Pine City. Certainly made it hard for us. Was rather discouraged about that. But Jennifer took care of us for Pine City.Mari S.

My original drop off was Hermantown MN and when I got there the guy in Moose Lake said his computer was saying I should drop off in Superior Wi because it was closer. We did that and when I dropped it off I told superior wisconsin that and they said no that is not closer. So I was over the 2 miles. Superior was about 6 miles further then the Hermantown drop off.Tim S.
