Barbara NI was called day before pickup that trailer was not available in my town so I had to drive 45 minutes to another town to get trailer.
DONALD CTrailer was dirty on the outside. The electrical connection was covered with mud. The representative attached the trailer to my vehicle but not the electrical. Lights were not tested before I left. The lights did not work at first. I cleaned the trailer connection with a wire brush. The lights then worked. The feeling I got was to get me out of there as fast as possible. I would probably invest in a trailer before renting from uhaul again.
Terry NDue to the fact that we were not given the 26' truck we reserved, we knew we had to make a second trip to pick up the items we would have to leave. This facility increased the number of days we would have the truck without increasing the fees.

Gabe RThis wasnt the place I originally rented from. I rented from a place in Elko but they transfered me to Wells which is 50 miles away. No adjustment for having to drive 50 miles farther and asked for an adjustment to return a day later since I lost 4 hours of packing time to go pick up the truck but wouldnt give that to me either. Uhaul is only rental truck place around so u have no choice. Truck was clean and ready to go and drove real good so overall we made it work by packing more hours.

Clayton DOnline process: Chose the pick up in Elko Nevada. Received text to pick up 50 miles away in Wells, NV. Drove 100 miles round trip due to no equipment availability at 4 locations in Elko. Otto's was exasperated with the system as my reservations were not in order. System did not originally give me a drop off location in Sparks, NV. Trouble printing contract. No walk around inspection. Trailer not swept out from previous renter. Received text from Uhaul on my return back to Elko of a drop off location across town 20 miles away.

REBECCA PI did not expect to drive 50 miles out of my way to get the rental truck I reserved. She added extra miles and day but it was still 2 hours extra driving time and fuel for my vehicle for100 miles. I would not have done it if it hadn't been last minute and if I had another choice.

Pete BThe reservation was for Elko, Nevada which is 50 miles away. The trailer was rented out. It is first come first served. A reservation just let's them know they have a sucker on the hook. There are 2 branches in Elko and Wells is considered to be local. I took 2 days off of work for this move and had to do a 100 mile round trip just to pick up a car hauling trailer for an afternoon move. Their idea of compensation was to let me have it free for 2 more days, like I said, I used it for an afternoon move. I will never use Uhaul again or recommend this company.
TOMAS MI rented a like new 4'x8' trailer from Otto Garage in Wells, Nevada. The vendors are courteous & easy to work with. The new trailers are excellent. The swing out door makes all of the difference. Please phase out your worn-out roll-up door trailers. Sincerely, Jim Wilkinson
James WPeople at Otto Clinic were wonderful, kind & very friendly & personable. The equipment however was terrible. I had to travel 60 miles one way to get this truck, the next closest one to me was 128 miles one way. The truck had major damage to the top front corner of the "grandma's closet". I was told it was returned that way & there wasn't really any issue except cosmetic. However...the damage allowed water to get in and destroyed some antique books that were packed in boxes & put up there. Some of these books had signatures in them from my dad, some were given to my children & were signed & dedicated. These things cannot be replaced!!!

Anne JNot make the customer drive 50 miles to Wells, NV or 176 miles to Ely NV to pick up their equipment that was reserved 2 weeks prior in Elko NV. Attitude of u-haul employees was, if you want your truck come get it. To bad but that is your choice. I talked to 6 different people and everyone in the main office in Salt Lake City had the same attitude. Not very helpful or customer service oriented. They could care less. I am still waiting to hear back from the area manager, Steve, and that was 4 days ago.
PHILLIP BNo room to park the truck. Have to leave it on the side of the road across the street. Where someone can hit it and customer gets the blame for it!!! Needs another uhaul location in Wells,Nv!
