JENNIFER PI had this truck less than 4 hours. Returned perfectly and blown off about charges. Waited more than 24 hrs for the pending to then see there was nothing returned to my account. I'd hoped it would be an easy process. It will have been days. I'm very disappointed and inconvenienced.
ERIC BDave was amazing & kind. He was also a Military Veteran (which is always a plus)! He made sure I was well informed on the rental & gave me lots of helpful tips. If I’m in need of a U-Haul rental in the future I will certainly be checking here first. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving the ship shop a go!!

JAMES FThe owner / manager gentleman does not come across customer friendly. Even told me not a believer in “the customer is always right”. Grumpy old man…not very friendly. I would recommend for the service provides, but also explain what to expect from behind the counter. Did not bother me, and certainly could see how a turn off for many others.

Amjad BThe trailer was “well traveled” all of the pint was cracked and faded. Lots of dents and dings. Not all of the perimeter lights worked although the brake and indicator lights were functional.

Lee MThe process was pretty slow. Also the truck had an 8th of a tank so I had to waste time getting gas right out of the gate and the company compensated me but not enough to cover the gas cost to get it to their required quarter of a tank.

He also said to me that if I was “ a minute late returning” he would charge me fees that I wouldn’t like. . They then called me on Sat when I had the trailer until Sunday that I was late returning it. When I called back they said they had confused me with someone else. He was just a jerk. The Ship Shop in trophy club Texas was not a good representation and the only bad experience I’ve ever had with uhaul

Ashley FWhen I showed up at this location the gentleman (who I believe is the owner) told met that I had to check in outside using my phone, which I told him that I had never done before. After having problems doing it on the phone, he took me back inside and then he had to enter all of my information, which I had already entered on my phone. When I brought the van back on time, I told him that I could not pull up the odometer, but I had reset the trip mileage when I picked up the van and I had driven 24 miles. I showed him a gas receipt for 1.9 gallons. He said that he needed to get the mileage. After 16 minutes of him being in the van, I went outside and I told him that I needed to go as he was trying to pull up the odometer as he was looking thru the owners manual. I told him once he figured it out to send me the receipt. He sent me a receipt saying that I drove the van 100 miles. I am guessing that he had not reset the odometer from the previous rental, or he is pulling numbers out of his butt since he billed me for an exact 100 miles. I will be glad to retrace my route for the 24 miles that I drove the van in 2 days. This place has a sign by the cash register, along with a jar, asking for donations to help cover a large fraud credit card case and a case from a client suing them. Extremely unprofessional business. If you don't know how to pull up the odometer on the van, you shouldn't be renting one to a customer.
