Rented Auto transport, only issue was one of the front wheel straps was almost to short, had been cut, notified owner/operator, said they would get it fixed, transport worked as advertised, easy to tow, provided you have the correct towing configuration.

young lady that got me setup was great, the online scheduling was easy and was able to get ahold of trailer pretty quick and get on the road, drop off was quick as well as they were closed on sunday. overall good experience.

Picking up the uhaul with the 24/7 self service was AWFUL! The video says it takes 10 minutes but i had to wait an hour for the storage to open to get the uhaul! It was a waste of time. (I got a link in advance to upload the driver's license but it didn't make a difference when going to pick it up.) There was constant problems with the pick up process. I understand why the live verification is in place, but it took much longer than expected. In the video it doesn't state you will need to put 2 contacts to pick up the truck and they have to answer the phone. That would have been nice to know before hand as not everyone was awake at pick up the time. Another step requests a 3rd contact or a picture of a lease contract. This would have been nice to know to bring in advance. I was unable to select any payment to pay to pick up the truck. There is no way to save your current progress to pick up the truck so if a network error occurs you have to start the process all over! There was inconvenience after inconvenience to pick it up through the smart phone! Would never recommend doing it that way to anyone!

My rental was for staples location in corpus. I verified it and started online check in. After I checked in, my pick up location was moved to the chaparral location in corpus. I was assisted by the staples location to move my reservation back to staples location. Other than that my experience was great.

Inside staff was great! I also rented dollies and the inside staff was able to coordinate with another store so the equipment was at store when I picked up UHAUL. Great customer service I will definitely recommend this location to my friends, co-workers, and family.

The employees don't care about the uhaul side of the business. They don't help hook up or check lights. Got double billed, just a terrible location for renting.

One they will not hook up trailer for you, in fact, they would not even walk outside with me. They said their storage units are there first priority and they can't go outside to help me hook up. I am 50 years old with handicap, dv plates I should of had help. The door on the trailer fell off the tracks twice. I have rented two weeks in a row and I use these when I do my craft shows. I should get better experience than this.

I checked no the equipment well maintained section only because I rented a 6 x 12 trailer. I received a warning citation because trailer lights wasn't on. At the store we checked signals lights and brakes. They worked fine but we never checked regular lights.

The prices are high it says 29.95 a day then 14 bare minimum for insurance then .99 a mile so a move across town cost close to 100 bucks now I know why I see people all over town with their stuff strapped to the top of the car. Not that anyone will read or take care of this but y'all need to get a grip

The truck provided was well maintained (ie: clean and not breaking apart anywhere). It was available at teh time we booked it and dropping off the keys was easy. However, we were not informed that that particular truck had to be returned to the same location even when we specifically booked it to drop it off at another location. Hence we ended up paying for the return mileage and gas. This should have been communicated to us before we picked up the truck.

The truck I rented was below empty. I was told I would be given a $22 credit if I brought it back with a little over a quarter of a tank of gas. Do the math... that's not much of a credit, when it took over 8 gallons @ $2.44 per gallon. I basically picked up a truck that was dirty inside & out-there were so many bug splatters on the windshield it took 3 complete washes to be able to see through the crud and still left a good 50% on the windshield! There were cracker crumbs, straw wrappers and sticky spots left in the truck on the drivers side and an old hair tie left behind. Not only did I have to clean up after the last renter & hassle with hoping to NOT run out of gas before reaching a station for a whopping $2.54 credit, iwas charged a full $40 rental for returning a clean truck with over a 1/4 tank of gas in it when I was only 2 hours over my time limit! REALLY? A FULL DAY RENTAL? I also decided to forego renting a larger unit elsewhere for less money by renting my space from the Parkdale location in San Antonio. Next time I will not hesitate to contact Hertz, Ryder and/or ANY OTHER company over UHaul-I won't use UHaul ever again, if I have to carry my stuff on my back!

The fuel gauge marked lower than the indicated paperwork. The mileage was higher that indicated on paperwork. I took before and after pictures because I knew they would charge me. And they did charge me extra. Ugh.

They charged our card multiple times and never release the pending transactions back to our bank. Why charge a card several times and not only once for the whole transaction amount.

Pay customers there holding deposit money within the time we turn in trucks.. i have to wait 3 to 4 business days and thats not fair.. as it is the move is stressful and very expensive and you guys could make it easier by reimbursing asap

Susanne saved the day! We had previously reserved a bigger truck and dolly at the Uhaul store located off SPID in Corpus Christi, TX almost two weeks prior. We arrived, the staff was unprofessional, said there were no dollies available, didn't check if any actually were...we cancelled our reservation and walked out only to see several dollies available. I then called the storage place who we previously done business with and got everything taken care of immediately. She was very professional, kind and we will be using her location ONLY from now on and will recommend to everyone. The Storage Place off S. Staples is the best.

Every time I try to rent a truck at the location close to my house, I am sent to a less convenient location further away. I understand all the dynamics of managing a fleet of vehicles. Please don't explain that again. The fact remains that it can be very inconvenient for the customer! U-Haul needs to work on that.

I realized when I arrived in corpus the location I choose on line was too far away. I called the location I originally reserved at and they helped me find a closer location. They just could have said ok canceled the reservation and said call the 800 number and they can help you. But they didn't and instead helped me. I will not even consider another company other than uhaul in the future.
