The uhaul completely smelled like smoke. It was unbearable to ride in. Made for a long trip and lots of headaches.RACHEL H.

Remove the moving blanket bag! Had to open the bag to utilize the space it takes up and got charged $15. Also left turn signal was not working, so maybe do weekly inspections to verify trucks are safe when the are not used.Ramsey R.
We drove 5 days in rain. Some of my belongings were damp and one piece of furniture ruined and went to dump. Our boxes in the back door location were soaked ruining some contents and had come apart. We had to go get boxes and repack for storage. (4) There was a leakage about center from roof. When I told person he scoffed and said he took pics and sees no water inside of what looks like a leakage. We returned the truck 2 days after we arrived.KAYEDALTON M.

The rep was resolving a problem with a return. I had to return after 30 minutes, to pick up the trailer. It was frustrating. Customer service was Ok.RANDY L.
Terrible. The gal was nice enough, but very poor customer service. Manager unavailable to help back trailer in as he was packing for his upcoming trip for Labor Day. Gal didn't know how to back up trailer either. Made me feel terrible for not knowing however. Hope I never have to go back there!!!LORI F.

Lady that was working and help me with trailer was a raging bitch! Customer service was awful! She acted like she was doing me a favor by renting me this uhaul trailer. Never seen so bad customer service. Never do business there again and strongly advise no there's do either.chad S.

It was frustrating picking up the truck and trailer in two locations, other than it was a quick and easy experience. The truck was power full but bad fuel mileage.Andrew Kirk P.
The trailer was filthy and we had to sweep it out before we could use it. We had to go get a broom as we did not have one with us. The facility was closed when we got there and had to wait until she came back and opened. It was after 10 AM. I requested to pick the trailer up at the location on Grand and was told I would have to pick it up at the 'Storage Place'. Not very convenient! I will be checking other options before I rent U-Haul again.Matthew C.

The day before I was scheduled to pick up the moving truck, someone called to tell me there was no truck. I would have to drive 100 miles to another state to pick up a truck. I used my own car, paid for my own gas, and used 5 hours of my own time. This caused me to have to hire someone to clean the home where I was moving from, because I had no time to do it myself. I asked them to get that truck to my town. No. I asked for a discount. No. The response from UHAUL was that they would not charge me for the extra day and milage on the moving truck. A complaint file was opened for me, but I have heard nothing from UHAUL. This was more than an inconvenience. I had this unexpected trip, with my professional truck driver, to pick up a truck that I had reserved plenty of time in advance. All this before a two-day interstate drive to my new city. It cost me real money. At least UHAUL could have given me more advanced warning. I would like a partial refund as compensation. The floor of the truck was filthy. My driver said the truck was safe, pleasant to drive, and he made good time.LORNA A.
You can make sure that your hydraulic brakes are working and don't send the driver into the ditch, destroying truck, trailer, and the contents of the trailer. That would be a wonderful start. Furthermore, when i call to get replacement equipment, understand that I MIGHT need an upgrade to a box truck since your faulty, dangerous trailer DESTROYED my towing vehicle. What good, exactly, does another trailer do for a customer if that customer no longer has a vehicle because it was destroyed in the accident caused by your failed brakes? I'm still waiting to understand that logic.Bethany B.

woman at this location very rude, told me I was dropping off at wrong location, and I would be charged. told me if I had problem to call 800 number, I called, lady was very helpful told me long as same city it was ok, went back inside rude lady then called herself was told it was ok, then she proceeded to complain how they had to many trucksDavid K.

i needed to flip the ball on my receiver. they owner there sayed they do not have any wrenches there. I find that hard to believe if they are keeping up equipment and would sell me a new receiver and ball. I was 6 hrs from home and had to go buy wrenches.Michael S.
