The gas tank was not full when I picked the UHAUL up.

I had a 15’ truck reserved for a full week. Wake up at 4 in the morning to go to the location. Wasn’t able to get the truck, apparently the site had no rentals available, but I literally had it reserved. They send me to a different location around 8:30 to get another, but it was a 26’. Couldn’t even park it at the storage unit because it was way too big. So we had to walk half a mile just to load up, Way more than we needed. (Hence Thats why we reserved the 15’)

App takes to long to process so you can drive off. It would be helpful if some of these steps can be done before arriving

Do not call a customer 15 hours before their pickup and tell them the pickup location has changed. I was never offered a fuel discount for having to use a location further away. The check-in process was terrible. It took way too long for approval. I will not use U-Haul for my next move.

One of the tires was rough but it made the trip. I cannot believe that you charged me for an entire extra day because I was 20 minutes late though. I will let everyone know know about that shady part of how you run a business but otherwise the lady in Carencro was awesome!

When I brought up the condition of the vehicle they were pretty dismissive saying, oh that's pretty normal. I was scheduled to have the truck returned on Sunday morning but, bad weather conditions created delays with unloading. I returned it on Thursday morning and was charged for 4 extra days. Let's see, S to M 1, M to T 2, Tuesday through W 3, then returned Thursday. I paid it but, I believe it was a day over charged.

we had traveled quite a distance to pickup the truck. No one was there because it was their lunch hour. When we got there we had to take time to download the app which did not work on my Android phone. We did get it to work on my son's iPhone. Then we had to figure out the steps for the app. I had already reserved the truck online. I just wanted to pick it up. Totally different experience when I dropped the truck off. A nice lady was there who took care of everything. A lot less stressful. Much more customer focused.

I am more than happy to respond to this survey. When my truck order was cancelled on the day I needed it in Baton Rouge, the very nice and helpful young lady with TSV* helped me solve my problem within half an hour. My needs were met and my move was flawless. Thank you The Storage Vault, and a very special "Thank you" to the lady who helped me. I will certainly use and recommend your facility for my future needs! I was VERY SATISFIED! *Just a note: My son used TSV for his move two years ago and he deserves a "Thank you" for making the initial call to TSV to help solve my problem.

Absolutely terrible! My initial reservation was not available to me so I had to accept an alternative site. Went to the alternative site on the day and morning of the reservation & there were no keys for the truck. Adding to that the lock, that was supposed to be on the back of the truck to secure the merchandise , was missing as well. After speaking to another associate I was then told that I would have to drive an additional 25 miles to the closest uhual to obtain the truck that I reserved. I arrived at the third site & to my surprise the truck that was reserved for me was not the same size of the truck that I was charged… adding to that the appliance dolly that I was charged for was not present at this second site either. So I unfortunately had to drive to ANOTHER uhual site just to obtain the dolly that I was charged. This pushed my moving schedule back two & a half hours. I didn’t finish moving everything until 3PM.Which mind you was a hour after the reserved time that I was assigned. Something that was supposed to take less than 4 hours … ended up taking 8 hours. I am waiting on my refund now from this experience because I was also charged for ALL of the extra mileage b/c of the “ out of the way” site that I had to travel to just to move my things… uhual promotes a convenient & efficient transitioning. This was neither of the two things. Extremely unprofessional and unorganized this whole experience was.

I had reservations at another location and the truck was rented out before I arrived. I told the lady I was coming but did not know the exact time since I had a two hour drive to pick up the truck. I was not happy at all. Rather ticked off. Honestly don’t think k I would rent UHaul because of this . I still can’t believe that

Absolutely nothing. The website was easy to use. When I picked up my U-Haul, the staff was knowledgeable and in fact, helped me avoid a mistake, and I upsized on the spot.

This U-Haul location is the best I've rented from. I rented without a reservation. Manager was very pleasant and professional. Documents were reviewed and everything was in order. Equipment was as clean as new. I was in and out and save time by using this location. I would definitely recommend renting from this U-Haul location. Service is excellent.

Service department needs either better knowledge or training to determine what is considered acceptable and safe for the customers safety and well being of the equipment. I was twice given a trailer not fit to use especially for a long highway drive. First trailer had has gash and and chunk of rubber cut out of side wall. Second trailer had a tire down to the wear indicator but had 3 new tires on the rest of it. Was told if I had an issue I could call roadside assistance.

I would like to be compensated for the 45 minute wait for the app to approve and let me pick up the keys. I had a crew on the clock during this time. The after hours pick up was a hassle. Also I was charged for mileage that 8 did not go. And the app required me to add $15 protection before I could get to the next step I am not at all happy with this

I had peace of mind knowing my valuables were in good hands. Miss Deja was also very pleasant. She has a calm sweet personality and she helped whenever need. I would choose this storage again for all my moving needs.

I used this facility for almost 10 years and never had an issue. The staff was always exceptional (Daysha rocks!) and the facility was convenient to get in and out of during open hours and after hours in the most secure way possible. I am a woman and went by myself on several occasions even after hours and never felt uneasy because of there security measures. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I will certainly use them again if I have any storage needs.
