The tire had cracking in it and wheel completely rusted out. Plus NO LICENSE PLATE!!! The guy was late to even open up shop. Reservation was for noon he arrived shortly before 2.

First have individual that runs the place show up on time to the selected time designation. He was 40 minutes late causing us to arrive late. The trailer had loose packing material in it, he said when we checked it out, oh its clean- we took him for his word - our mistake

I will never rent Uhall truck again, return was a nightmare , very unorganized , went to 2 different location, was told have to go to 2nd one, 11 miles away, at 10:00am it was closed , horrible business you're running, need my payment back

We originally ordered our truck at the Skyline Storage in Susanville, CA. We had a confirmation that the truck was ready and available on Sunday 3/15/20 at 10:00 am. We were there promptly at 10:00Am, and waited 45 mins, but no one showed up to open the facility. We called the Reno UHaul Scheduling Center and they really stepped up for us. They were able to find us another truck about 10 miles from our location, which was the Woodsmith location. However, we could not pick it up until after 1:00 pm. We picked up the truck and got home around 3PM. There had been a heavy snow over-night and all day on Sunday. When we took the truck to our house it was too late to load it. The next day is was completely stuck in the driveway. We lost one day just trying to get the truck we were promised and then two more days trying to get it dug out and unstuck. Had we been able to pick the truck up in the morning we would have had it loaded and out of there before the heavy snow caused it to be stuck. We had a professional come and get it out for us. The Reno Scheduling Center was terrific, and the Woodsmith location did their job. The reason I wouldn't recommend the Woodsmith location is that it is extremely cluttered with machines, the office is cluttered, the signs are hard to see or find. It is just a difficult place to do business. But we were grateful to get the truck, and the owner is a nice guy.

More available U-Haul equipment, I wanted an 5'x8' trailer and all this location had were 4'x8' trailers.

This was not the original place we were scheduled to pickup our truck; that location was waiting on a return and did not bother to call and tell us our rental would not be ready on time. The Woodsmith was nice, however the mess on his desk prevented a speedy rental pickup. We were there for over an hour doing paperwork. He also mentioned that the truck needed an oil change but thought “we should be ok to get to Ohio” from California.

I was so impressed with Norm and the kind and friendly service he gave. He really goes the extra mile to make sure his customers get what they need & have a trouble free moving experience. It was without a doubt the best U-Haul experience I have had, and I have rented quite a few U-Hauls. I would go out of my way to come back & rent a U-Haul from Norm.

I am not happy that my pickup location was changed after my reservation was confirmed. It cost me extra mileage. You couldn't see out the windshield it was so dirty.

NORMS PLACE IS HARD TO EXPLAIN...BUT, HIS SERVICE TO OUR DAUGHTER ON HER MOVE TO COLORADO WAS AWESOME. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO GET THE FAIREST PRICE AND MADE SURE THEY HAD ADEQUATE TIME TO MAKE THE SAFELY. HE WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM IN YOUR FUTURE UHAUL NEEDS!

Norm went out out his way to make sure we got our rental vehicle. The problem wasn't with Norm, the problem was the truck. It didn't become apparent until I climbed Sexton mountain pass north of Grants Pass Oregon (After I had alreay climbed the Siskiyou mountains). I made it up over the summit and 3 other succeeding summits at approx. 11 miles an hour. The truck had something major wrong with the engine. I was able to make it all the way to my destination but on pins and needles.

We have used the Woodsmith several times for U-Haul services in the past. He is very friendly and helpful for both pick-up and drop-off.

The man who helped me was extremely helpful and friendly. UHaul quoted me a substantially lower price on the internet ($54) than the price that was shown at the UHaul pick up location ($112). He was more than happy to match it, but to be honest a customer should not have to ask about paying a price they were quoted.

Have the trucks serviced and ready for use. Trucks should not have to be serviced in the middle of a rental's use.
