Same felt like I need an interpretive person with me in America where English is the first language. I shouldn’t need a translator with me to talk to an associate in a business like I speak a different language in America. So that was very upsetting to deal with

Honestly I had a horrible experience with Uhaul. I had originally picked a location and it was switched a few days before because I was told they wouldn't have truck for me, then when we arrived the new scheduled location it wasn't even open (Drove half hour to get there). I had to call customer service to switch me to this location (Thomas Liquor, another 25minutes away). The woman working had no clue what was going on with Uhaul. Did not have the code to the lock box and kept trying to tell me it was on my app, she did not speak English well or understand what I was saying. I yet again had to call Uhaul customer service and wait for them to call her manager to get the lock box code. After waiting again for that I finally got in the truck for the gas to be on empty and needing to be filled. Thomas Liquor does not represent Uhaul well. TLDR - Was scheduled for pick up at a closed location, representative not helpful at Thomas Liquor, gas was on empty when I finally got the keys

The Air conditioner didn’t work in the truck

U-Haul had a lock on the back I couldn’t even use the truck didn’t notice until I was half way across town trying to move and now I have to wait for my money back. Scam.

It was confusing process since I did not know who to talk to about the U-Haul. Apparently you just call but that information was not told to me. It was a confusing process
