The only redeeming factor of the drop off location was it was only 2 miles from my destination. The u-haul location was at a landscaping nursery business with multiple old pieces of equipment at the location. The parking area looked like a punctured tire waiting to happen. Teenage worker did not inspect the truck or trailer after I delivered the truck/trailer. I was called 5 days after I dropped off the truck/trailer asking if I had delivered the equipment. Apparently, the teenage worker placed one piece of equipment back into the system as being delivered but not both pieces of equipment.

Fernando GWhile I had no issue with the folks at the Thompson Sod location, they were great and helpful, the U-Haul of Gainesville Regional Traffic Office person was not helpful, and in fact, extremely rude. UHaul switched locations of pick-up on me based on the availability of trailers in the area. That was fine, even though the location was 11 miles away. When I inquired as to whether I could drop the trailer off at our original location, Midguard in Jonesville, I was told to call them. I did, and they said I would need to call the U-Haul of Gainesville office, who then had this man from the Traffic Office call me. When I explained the situation, he told me that I could not take it to another location unless I paid a $200 fee. He went on to tell me that other sites did not deal with trailers or were at capacity. The fact that they were at capacity is not my problem; you should not burden the customer with this problem because you could not provide the service your website allowed. To drop off at a different location, he wanted to charge me $200. Totally unacceptable. This problem was created by U-Haul, not me. The man kept referring to language in the contract, which I acknowledged, but offered no solutions to help solve the problem, again inconveniencing the customer. I guess if that is the way U-Haul does business, you can disregard this feedback. The man I spoke to was an awful representative of your company.

Vincent CMain issue was an email from U-Haul that said we had till 6pm to return trailer. The paper receipt said 10:38 am which I understand is more valid. Stop letting AI write your automatic no response email messages. Very confusing with 2 different return times.
