Nobody onsite, nobody to assist with hooking up the trailer and reservations had several errors and insurance was added during a phone call to me without disclosing it. TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!

They overcharged me for gas that was never put in the car, and they also recorded the mileage incorrectly, resulting in an additional charge. I’m really glad I had timestamped the information before I left, as proof, because otherwise, they would have just taken my money. This was for the church.

I was scammed on the front end and on the back end. I asked for a $19 truck and they charge me for a larger truck without my permission or my knowledge. I complained about the issue and I was told that I would get a partial refund immediately and the balance of the refund. At drop off of the vehicle. Instead upon drop off of the vehicle, I was overcharged an extra 120 something dollars on top of me not getting my refund for the initial overcharge. Roosevelt. Highway U-Haul is a 100 percent scam spot. Don’t waste your time. They give us a bad name in that neighborhood. U-Haul boys or whatever their name is to be arrested or at the very least U-Haul doesn’t need to do business with them anymore because they scam me on the front end and on the back end.

When I pulled up to drop my Uhaul truck off The guy said I was at the wrong location my actual drop off was next door. The day before they had let my Authorized driver drop my tow dolly off there, therefore I asked them if it were the wrong location why did they except it.. They said they didn't. Which they didn't, their night time worker did unbeknownst them. I asked could I rehitch the tow dolly to return it to the right spot. The man refused to let me take the tow dolly that was accepted the day before even though he hadnt checked it in & then he quickly checked it inThe guy started getting smart when all I was trying to do was get clarification. I had pulled in with the 26ft truck. The worker stood in front of their dirt patking lot & refused to let me turn around. There was a whole parking lot that I could have turned around to avoid hitting something. I'm not good at driving trucks is why i had an authorized driver in the 1st place. He made me back up with very little room by way of standing in front of my truck daring me to hit him. I asked him to move so I could turn around yet he stood there. We went back and forth. This is very the worse experience that I've ever had with Uhaul. They shouldn't be in business with customer service like that. I then went next door to Horizon, my original drop off place to drop the truck off since they wouldn't let me bring the tow dolly. At Horizon at 4499 Roosevelt Rd. I was treated fairly. All in all I dropped my truck off on time with more gas that it came with. It was clean and ready to go for the next customer. Anitra Bobbitt

Mileage and fuel level were incorrect Someone drove this truck and tried to pass the cost on to me Now I have to deal with customer service to get my money back Major inconvenience Make sure to always take a picture of fuel levels and mileage and inform employee before leaving

I'll only use an actual uhaul location from now on. My card was charged three times and they were trying to charge for wrong location drop. The other location was less than three mins away from original pick up location. The other location called back to let me know they were giving wrong information about this situation.

When I arrived for my scheduled pickup time there was no one to assist me. I did not schedule a mobile pick up so I’m not sure why an agent was not on site. I called the number that was listed on the window for assistance and it went straight to voicemail, so then I called the number on the reservation. When the guy finally arrived 30 mins after my desired pick-up time he advised me I should have called the number on the window. I told him I did, and he proceeded to say “oh it must have been dead”. I felt the whole experience was very unprofessional and caused an huge inconvenience for the rest of my day due to the delayed pick up time.

The truck was filthy and a ladder was left in from previous rental. The transaction was completed in the blazing sun with no assistant on the ground. My rental included the rental of a hand truck which I instructed my worker to take. My colleague inspected the truck while I was on the phone. Later in the afternoon I received a call from Kay (owner) telling me I took the furniture which I wasn't aware of at the time. He demanded that I return the equipment immediately as would cancel the contract and report the equipment stolen to the Police. I apologized and offered to pay for the equipment. He refused and demanded it be returned immediately, which I did! When I got there, again I apologized and he still wouldn't accept my apology and offer to pay for the equipment. During our conversation he said that his worker told him that I told my worker to remove the equipment. How could he have had a worker on the premises and not providing assistance? I struggled in the sun trying to put in the code, to get the key released. This leaves me wondering how could he have someone on the premises that offers no assistance, yet reports when he supposedly sees something going wrong. Shouldn't it be the other way around- loss prevention? When we returned the equipment, I also attempted to return the hand truck because I already had a truck at home. He refused and told me to return it at the end of the lease, and walked away. I got out of my car, and walked over to the little house and knocked at the door, and waited for him to come out. Once again, I apologized and told him there was no intention to use his equipment without paying and that I would pay for it. He went on ranting, "I'm not talking again," when I tried to interject. He screamed at me, saying, "For the last time, don't talk," l interjected, and he started to point his fingers in my face. I told him, I won't accept such rudeness, and he said "That's why I don't talk to females, and he walked out saying "shut th f----- up." I said you don't talk to females, yet you have a child. Because I work wa incomplete and our things were still in the truck, I extended the rental for another day. I returned the truck yesterday amid heavy rain. I called, him and while standing in the rain, he instructed me as to where I should put the keys. Before placing the key, he told me not to lock the truck. The car was already unlocked. He then asked me to wait before closing the contract. I sat in my car where we texted photos of the inside of the truck, mileage, and gas to him. During that time, I noticed a black SUV, which I suspected he may have been in. I told him that his truck was returned cleaned, though we received it dirty. I will never rent from this location again. Customer service 1 star- for having a truck when I needed one.

the area of the U-HAUL area had tons of debris on the ground, trash and other large objects. The gentleman doing our transaction was VERY courteous and explained the hook-up process. It did take a little longer than expected due to an issue with the program not wanting to waive the INSURANCE FEE but eventually we made progress and we BOTH learned a thing or two.

Hard to reach the location to drop off a rental truck. Also charged me 3 times on my credit card for 1 rental when I spoke to customer service they told me that it’s standard. I was charged 116.00 on the 8th and 116.00 on the 9th and another 110.00 on the 9th.
