Megan GMy experience was great!
Barbra DI didn't check inside the trailer before I left, so I can only blame myself. There was debris, wood chips, and old window screens left inside the enclosed trailer. I had to clean it out, sweep it, before I could use it. I had to dispose of the contents before I could put anything in it.
JOSEPH PWhen I got there to pick up my trailer a (4 x 8 box) that I reserved on the website I was told that they had none and had not had any for over a year. I ended up having to get a 5 x 8 at more cost as I was on a time crunch and had no options but to accept the added cost for it as I was on a time crunch.
PATRICK GTroy was great to work with. My schedule got delayed and he very easily accommodated me and I had the truck waiting at my location when I got to my destination. No hassles or headaches,which seems like a rarity these days. Thanks Troy

Doug SThe only complaint I had is that the young man who hooked up the trailer to my car did not check to see that the lights were working. He had told me I needed a convertor for 7 wires to 4 wires. I purchased that a came back and he hooked it up. Fortunately, my husband checked the lights before we left. The convertor did not work. We had to go to a car repair shop to find where the problem was and then get a new convertor. If the lights had been checked at the UHaul place, at which time I could have exchanged the convertor from the auto store almost next to it, we would not have lost a day before we could leave. Otherwise, the people at the UHaul place were very nice and accommodating. We might rent from them again, but will make sure the lights are working before we leave with the trailer.

Jerry LWhen I got to the place I was dropped off my ride had to go to work and it was raining and all I had with me was my grandson the truck that I had rented to come find out it was had a trailer behind it to U-Hauls on both sides of it in a car parked sideways in front of it the only way I can get out was to move two trailers the one behind it and the one next to the that one and it was hard to do but other than that we had to walk 8 miles to get home in the rain but it's like we had to work and it took us cuz we had to keep taking breaks probably an hour at least if not more to get that all move and all the ways where we can even leave in a vehicle and for them to block their rentals I thought was very unprofessional then when I go to turn it in I guess I didn't even turn it in when it set there and had me take a picture of thermometer the mileage and then take a picture of the gas and told me to put the key in the mailbox in the front of the building and can't find it out I look on there to see what was charged and it's not even showing completed and then they said something about when I was checking in I was three and a half miles away I was sitting right there in her parking lot so I don't see how that is but thank you have a blessed day Kandy Kendall

ROCKY RWhen I got the reservation, the address it told me to go to was 3515 poplar st, which is a car dealership. So I was really confused. Then, I logged in online, and it told me to go all the way across town to a different location. The 2nd location could have done the rental, however, they didn't have the dolly, so they ended up giving me directions to the correct location and I was eventually able to find it. Once I got there, it was a nightmare trying to park and know where to go in at, once I got that figured out.. i got the rental agreement accomplished. However the gal who didn't my contract seemed confused. She must not do it very often. Over all, I got what I needed to get done accomplished but it sure was a hassle getting the truck rented.
Daniel MI arranged for a pickup after hours. I received a call in the late afternoon to confirm that I was going to pick up the truck at the arranged time. When I got there, I realized that I had never been told where the key was. I called the help line and they suggested that it might be on the door of the establishment or in a box near the back of the truck. It was in neither place. After looking for several minutes, the help line called again and suggested that it might be inside the truck box. In an email there was a code for unlocking the lock, so I found the lock on the door. (To get to the door, I had to stand in a snow drift.) The lock was frozen, and it took several minutes for me to thaw it out and work the combination. When I finally got it unlocked, the door was frozen and I could not lift it. I had to use a crow bar to pry the door open. When I got in the truck, I saw that there was less than 1/8 tank of gas, and it was impossible to leave it at that level, so I ended up leaving the truck with 8-10 gallons more than there was when I picked it up. NOTHING was done to prepare the truck to be rented, and I was given no information about anything. It seems that the owner should have told me where to find the key, checked the lock and door to see if they would open, and filled the truck with gas. I will not be renting from this dealer again.
Dave TI was charged $50 for fuel or fuel not being restored to arrestored to original Setting. I told The worker that the gas light was on. He seemed not to care. I only use the vehicle for 9 miles. I replaced 2 full gallons of fuel. Returning it to the level. When I saw the charges on my email bill I contacted and employee. He said I would have to contact them on Monday which I did. And the owner of the location location was very short and very rude. After I said I did not agree with his level that he placed the vehicle at run the fuel. I have photo documentation when I got in the vehicle and when I got out of the vehicle. After I spoke to the owner who would not give me his name He just kept on saying I'm the owner and I make the decisions.. Tom LThe store employees had to help us check in because the app wasn't working for us. Then at drop-off when the store was close, the app again wasn't working so we had to call. After waiting 25 min for a rep, and another 15 of them trying to check us out, they gave up and told us to call on Monday morning to make sure we were all good. The check-in and check-out process was a hassle.

CHRISTOPHER OOur experience with the Uhaul truck/company was very good except we wanted a 26 ft truck and were given a 20 ft truck. However, the movers we contracted with through Uhaul, Ruffing Cody Movers, were terrible!! They had double booked the day of our move and arrived 4+ hrs. late. We contracted and paid for 4 hrs but they stayed 2 hrs. They were going to come back the next day and give us a free hour. They didn't come back, and half our furniture was not loaded and unloaded. They charged an additional $100 cash to move our piano. That had not been discussed. We had to disassemble and reassemble everything even though Cody said they would do everything we wanted. They rushed so much that several pieces were damaged. It was a terrible experience!
Joan NThere were 3 employees there but only 1 new how to do U-Haul and he was on the phone loudly talking and laughing. My reservation was for 11 am. It was after 11:45 before we were helped. Lady I made reservation with said picking up would only take few minutes.
JOSHUA JSo this poor review has nothing to do with the location. We spent over an hour trying to get the app to work correctly. The shop people were polite, but couldn't help us because they said we had to go through the app, so we made multiple calls to Uhaul's 800 number waiting 15+ minutes each time. Then when we finally did get the code, it didn't work and we had to go inside the auto shop to have someone let us into the truck. After 90 minutes of trying, we finally got into the truck. In the meantime, the people who were helping us move were just standing around waiting for the truck. So frustrating. Will never rent from UHaul again.

Patrick MThe cab of the truck was dirty. The trailer was clean inside. We were told that was what we needed to bring back clean. We were charged a cleaning charge for the dirty cab when we dropped off the vehicle. Also, the windshield wipers were in shreds. When we ran into bad weather, we had to pull over and wait.

MATTHEW GI dropped off at night. There was no security for the rentals. The lot was overgrown and crowded. there was no clear drop-off point for anything and I could hardly tell it was a Uhaul location.
AUSTIN PThe guys at the store were nice and friendly. When I arrived home I realized the car dolly was broken. The plastic was broken and I was unable to use the dolly for my actual move.
