Staff did not explain gas policy correctly and resulted in significant charges I did not expect

It was an amazing experience in a difficult situation. I had a 15ft box truck packed full and my sweet, feline companion rising shot gun for the near 1,000 mi adventure. I had a very short period of time to move from MN to PA and from the fast pick-up of the truck at Toasted Wine and Spirits (great customer service) to the drop off in Monroeville (where the attendant was so kind and helped me save a few dollars), having U-Haul's convenience and easy accessibility, I was able to take a few needed deep breaths of fresh air and make the trip with less stress and easy driving. The passenger door had some issues with completely closing (which made for exceedingly concerning highway driving), but nonetheless it was a safe trip.

Was scammed on this place . They took a “security deposit “ that he was was gonna be refunded, but never did. The first truck was dead , full of snow, no gas & not even ready which it should’ve been from the start . Had to go back in and and get the keys for the other truck. Was disappointed at this location & would not have went through with the place if I wasn’t on a time limit.

Good evening, No issues with pick up location as I know I scheduled last minute so I had to be flexible and pick up location. The truck was clean and everything went well… I’m a little frustrated with the extra cost as my drop off location was changed from the agreed-upon drop off location on university so it incurred more mileage and gas, which I was then charged for. It was not a lot so it’s not the end of the world, but I do question whether I should have incurred that charge as things changed after my original pick up and agreed upon drop off location Drop off location is fine if I had been prepared, there was no place warm to wait and no personnel there so that one doesn’t apply. Drop off location is changed from what was originally agreed upon so I had to rearrange my ride home and it wasn’t super convenient as it was cold out and no place to stay warm.
