I believe it was Cindy who was helping us check out - she was lovely - great at follow up and communication prior to pick up. On pick up day, it was a busy morning for her to manage the register and check us out for the Uhaul. We didn't get a thorough walk through and didn't realize until Council Bluffs that the tires had bad tread wear and stabs in them. We notified the Council Bluffs Haul and they shared there was nothing they could do and advised us to drive to KC and keep the roadside assistance number handy. There is no one to help hook up or disconnect trailers and with no tongue jacks it is very difficult to connect a trailing if not impossible. I'm 71 years old and by the time i managed to get the trailer I was too sore to go home and load the trailer. Tongue jacks are a must at locations that don't hook up for you.David A.

The personnel at this location were not good representatives for U-Haul. I arrived and asked for my reserved truck. The receptionist seemed surprised, then dismissively said "oh, reserved online?". I told her yes and indicated that we had also reserved a furniture dolly. She said "we don't have any of those". The manager came over and corrected her. We went through the rental contract and I took the truck. When I returned, the man I assumed was the manager was the only person on duty. He nodded at me when I entered and then concluded the sale of some snacks to a woman and child, then proceeded to continue a phone conversation for about 5 minutes that appeared to be personal in nature. Three customers entered, and he tended to them before me. The return took about 10 minutes all told, and could have been much shorter.SHERI M.

The truck gas tank was filled completely up because the fuel indicator was stuck ?? $59. For gas when I returned it. It was a FREMONT truck that I returned to Fremont. It was full of gas and no one would refund any amount for the half a tank. That is jacked. Unethical as all hell. And a great way to get free gas for the truck! Sketch.LISA D.

My experience was painful. She did not seem to know what she was doing and it took almost an hour to complete the transaction. She asked a couple questions 3 different times even after i gave the answer during the first time she asked.deric D.
Make sure seals are intact on equipment between customers. As far as I know I wasn't charged erroneously, but the seal on the dolly was broken when I received the truck, and it could have created problems if I hadn't noticed it...Daniel C.

This location was an absolute joke had to help the individuals get the U-Haul that I used unstuck was unprepared charged for the wrong vehicle charge $38 for gas another $23 for whatever unable to get in contact with them charged 123 for a $30 rental I will never use U-Haul againtim S.

I had to try to clean 8" of snow off of the windshield myself. The location handed me a broom and told me that's the best they could do. The passenger side wiper blade was in need of replacement and scraped metal against the windshield. The interior "roof" was also coming down. I addressed all of these issues with the person I spoke to when I returned the truck. Hopefully they make the repairs.DAWN P.

Everything went well. Customer service was very cordial and helpful. They were low on furniture pads. The ones they had left looked like they had been laid on some dry grass and dust. The previous renter of those pads could have shook them out better before taking them back to Tom's Phillips 66. Otherwise, Tom's did great.Scott E.

Your system wouldnt process my debit card, the clerk tried several ways, as credit, debit, and as deposit etc and it wouldnt process my card, the acct had plenty of money in it, i ended up having to use cash as a deposit,i was told that this happens all the time, thank god i had some cash on me to pay my moving help, so i used it for deposit, this pickup process was way to slow through computer,, it wasnt the clerks fault, it held up my moving time by 45 min, ,mark P.
It took 45 minutes to do the check in, once I had the key to the truck it wouldn't start...totally dead, no lights, no nothing, went back in to let the lady know, she called the manager who told her to give me the other truck. By the way i think the transmission is going out on it, so you might want it checked out. Anyway, I was told it would be 100.00 up front, but the cost of the rental would be 75.00. 175.00 was taken out of my account. Upon returning the truck I was told that I would be refunded 33.20 because because I put less than 40 mines on it but to be on the safe side i estimated for 50. Well I got the 100.00 back but I haven't gotten the 33.20 refund. This was my first time of renting from Uhaul and it was not a good experience. However, the staff was nice and the truck was clean, so good job on that part.Cheryl G.

My pickup/drop off locations changed a couple of times on my day of rental which unnerved me a little. Then my reservation was migrated from a one-way to in-town rental at a town kind of triangular from both source and destination cities. Once I picked up the truck, though, everything went great.Dustin J.
