Cleanliness of the vehicle could be improved. Front was muddy and had a horrible smell. Cargo was full of dust/dry mud, I had to sweep before loading my stuff. Customer service was excellent and clerk was very attentive. Equipment was the only issue.

Kirk AOrdered a 15 ft truck, then was upgraded to a 20 ft, then upgraded to a 25 ft, then told the day before the move that they have no trucks at all and I’d have to rent from a location 25 miles out of the way one way (50 miles extra drive). I was sent multiple texts/emails over the course of a couple days due to UHailul changing the size. Then the size went back down from 25 ft size to the original 15 ft size. Got finally the truck and it had only 1/2 tank of gas. I returned it to UHaul filled and was told from the drop off location in Ozark that they would need the manager to call me. She did and said I won’t be reimbursed for the $50 extra in gas that I filled it with. They said that they rent trucks with as little as 1/4 tank of gas. I’ve never rented a vehicle without it being topped off at pick up and topped off at drop off - who rents vans with only 1/4 tank for a long, 1 way move, so unprofessional? They said the pick up location dealer will need to get in touch with me to resolve. I doubt UHaul will take care of this problem, which makes me doubt that I’ll ever use or recommend UHaul to anyone else in the future.
Heather IWorst moving experience ever I rented a 10 foot, it is the first uhaul truck I have ever rented that did not have a ramp. So I had to step up and down off of the truck with every item I was moving. Which was extremely difficult with heavy items, it took me twice as long to load and unload. I was contacted after I had already picked up the truck, that I could get an upgrade to a larger truck with a ramp, and discount on milage, Gee thanks, that does me a lot of good when I get the text 20 minutes after picking up the reservation truck!! Then after I left the facility I was texted again to take a picture of the license plate to verify, ok great, I'm driving down the road and you want me to go back to the rental property and take a picture of the truck I have already left in🤨I refilled the tank when I was finished and drove back to drop off the " undamaged" rental truck, using the key drop box, I was so tired I didn't even keep the truck the whole 25 hours that I paid for. I actually only used it for 6 hours, which it should of only taken me 4 hours at the most to load and unload the truck!! I was only able to make one load/ trip because it was so exhausting climbing up and down into the truck. I have always rented with uhaul and never had any issues before for more than 30 years now, very disappointing 😞
