I ordered 15 ft truck and paid for a 15 ft truck. Got 12.5 ft truck from end of truck to end of so called granny area. I had to leave part of my things three states away !KEVIN W.

I was given the wrong amount I was quoted way lower. I drove maybe 6 miles they added over 10 dollars in gas and didn't tell me. The website was down it was a jokesherri H.

We were told in the beginning that our drop off location would be in Hurricane, Utah and when we looked at the address when it was time to return the truck we found out it was 50+ miles away in Simmit Utah. We called Uhaul and explain the situation and they arranged for us to return it to Hurricane and when we got there 1 day early they told us there was no refund because we did not return it to the correct location. Not exactly what we expected.Bill P.

Towne Storage LLC in Clearfield, Utah is where we ended up for drop off and also where we chose to store our belongings while we shop for a new home. TJ was Top Notch in handling the drop off. He explained the process thoroughly paying extra attention to the fine print. He also validated the location as the only option for securely storing our personal belongings. Without a doubt if you have the need for a storage unit or just have a U-Haul Truck that needs to be returned ... Please make it clear where to return the keys in case nobody is in the office when returning the truck. Make sure the truck odometer is not set to km when billing in miles.Spencer C.

The guy who helped me was so helpful and friendly and very personable. Unlike the other people I had dealt with to try and get a unhaul. We drove to salt lake to get one we had requested to then find out they had double booked it. Luckily this man made up for the bad experience!Alyssa J.

They said it was a 100 deposit that could get back when it wasn't. They didn't have the size with ramp as I requested gave me way bigger one same price BUT NOT SAME ON GAS SO IN THE END I PAIDWAY MORE THAN TOLD I WOULD BE.Cord H.

I (the mom) needed to help my daughter move out of her apartment and out of an abusive situation immediately. Panic set in. Towne Storage was the closest storage facility and they had U-Haul truck available. From the beginning (my first phone call) the service we received was very helpful. We loaded the U-Haul truck (drove less than 7 miles round trip) and was allowed to parked it over night at Towne Storage. We came back early the next morning and unloaded the truck.Figuring out how to move my daughter's furniture, clothes, etc. ended up being much easier than I anticipated thanks to the attendant that was on duty when I called Towne Storage (and my strong grandsons who came to our rescue.) The 26' truck I got for a 480mile trip was not in good shape. With 138k miles and body damage it barely made it to the destination. When it got to the house it was smoking and leaking oil.Tyson C.

Better tires for winter driving on the truck, got it stuck twice in Clearfield and once in Scipio. I am extremely glad that I decided not to tow a trailer or car. I will not be taking another load down by uhauld in the winter and will not recommend it for winter but will for times when there is no snow to deal with.Kerrie G.

We are not very happy with U-Haul. As I mentioned, we did not get the truck we thought we were renting. We were not able to load all of our items which is a little frustrating. Had we known that the truck would not have been a 15' moving truck, we would have gone with another moving company. Please have a representative from U-Haul call me at (970) 629-1030. Thank you much! They are prepared and very courteous to their customers. I really appreciated the attention to detail their representative provided and the customer service oriented focus. This was the best U-Haul experience I have had after about 8 experiences in the past. My reservation was changed to this location because the location I had chosen didn't have the right size truck. When I got there the sales boy said they didn't have a dolly even though my reservation email clearly said it was supposed to be provided. He tried to change something with my reservation but he couldn't get the computer to work when I asked him what he was doing all he would say was 'whoever booked this did it weird' (I had booked online). He failed to show me how to adjust the seats or turn on the lights or even walk me out the the truck all the way which makes me wonder how he entered the starting mileage. He took us halfway out to the truck and pointed to it and said 'it is the middle one'. I had to look over the truck for cleanliness and damage by myself. He did not cover any drop off procedures for his location so I ended up having to take it elsewhere.DANI C.

Our truck wasn't ready on time, not even within 2 hours of the scheduled pick up time. The worker didn't even call to let me know it wasn't ready and not to come. I am currently disabled and it was a hardship for me to have to come there two different times. It wasted valuable time while I should have been moving and cleaning. I had 6 movers at my house right on schedule to pack my things into the truck, Since I couldn't get the truck on time, I had to pay them to stand around that whole time, and they also had to leave before the truck was finished loading because they had other appointments to get to and had stayed my allotted amount of time. This move could have gone very smoothly if my uhaul had been ready on time. I thought uhaul would make my life easier and save me money, instead they made it pure chaos and cost me more money. I don't feel like the $50 credit even comes close to compensating me for all the trouble. I would have been better off just using my personal truck, and wish I would have.LACIANNE B.

Brand New 2013 Van, I must say for only 2995 miles on this particular vehicle was MUDDY inside and out and I wish the young lady would hove come out and did a visual inspection with me. I spent 1 hour cleaning it and I only put 11.2 miles on the van. Next time I will make sure we have a visual inspection so I will not be responsible to clean the prior renters mess and mud up. No one was at the pickup location at the specified time. I had to wait for 15 minutes for someone to get there. The gentleman said he was not aware of the rental, but took care of it anyway. He was very nice. Also I was suppose have a "17 foot truck but got a "14 ft. The gentleman did fix the contract accordingly.Diane C.
