I thought it went great. However, at some point I was offered a deal and sent to another location to retrieve the truck and bring it back to the original location. The issue was that I was sent to a location where they didn’t do pick up past 5:00pm. Other then that it went fine

My issue was with the U-haul system for showing how much you'd need to "fill" the tank before returning the truck. When I picked up the truck, the person working there said "the tank is full, so be sure you return it full." When I started up the truck, it didn't look like the gas gauge showed full, but I trusted the counter person. I used the truck for about 15 miles. When I stopped to 'top off' the tank at a gas station, the truck took about $30.00 of gas. When I checked the gauge at the gas station, it went from about 3/4 full to full. Which means, the tank was not full when I picked it up. When I talked to the agent after returning the truck, she said the 'accurate' read of how much gas was in the truck is in the contract. So I looked at the contract; it showed a completely full tank. Problem is, the contract "gauge" doesn't look at all like the gauge in the truck.....visually there is no comparison at all. So, if I were to go off the gas level specified in the contract, I'd still be totally wrong believing the tank was full. As a result, I paid about double what I'd expect for the amount of gas needed to fill the tank. I felt very deceived. The person at U-haul only said "Sorry about that" but didn't offer any form of compensation or refund. This U-haul system seems very unreliable - what's in the contract is not what the truck gas gauge says. $30.00 in gas for driving 15 miles in a 15' truck makes no sense at all. I'm too distrustful to use Uhaul again, solely for that reason.....I can't rely on what the agent tells me, what the contract says, and what the gas gauge says.

Using trader Bob’s was easy and convenient. Dana was very helpful and made the process quick and easy. I will definitely use them in the future moving needs!!

The lot and location itself wasn’t the best - it was small. There were only 2 U-Haul trucks and 1 little trailer on the lot when I was there. The rest were all normal vehicles (not sure who’s). The office itself still had older vibes (like it’s been there for years). The lady in the front office was the sweetest and very nice and kind. She helped answer any and all questions. Seemed very knowledgeable about the services and equipment.
