Make sure they actually have your reservation when you call. Or the next day they'll try and say there isn't one and that you never called. Power steering didn't work. Also not cleaned or sanitized. Terrible experience.Breanna S.

I have two complaints. 1) The website said 1313 Day st. Winnipeg would be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., but when I arrived there, I saw a sign in the window showing an opening time of 9 a.m. 2) I waited until 9 a.m., but the manager still did not show up. Finally, at about 9:10 a.m., he came, claiming he had been delayed by a train. 3) His application the computer would not open. Finally he agreed to my request to give me the truck upon my signature on the registration form I had brought along, though he did require a cash deposit from me.Wesley T.

I asked more than once when booking if this location would be open as it was a holiday here that day. I was assured the would be. We get there and it's closed. Call in & get informed I have to do "online pick-up" so there we are trying to do this sitting in our vehicle in the rain. The lady on the phone was awesome but the process was frustrating. If I had been informed of this process when I was booking, things would have been different. We had trouble opening the back door of the truck. Chalked it up to everything being wet and slippery. Got home to discover the reason the door was so difficult was because the pulley wire was broken. It took some creativeness and sometimes 2-3 people to get closed properly. We had also ordered a dolly and it was not in the truck and the passenger side door was very difficult to get closed properly. We did our move and on the way back to the location, I called in and spoke to someone about our issues. He said he put a hold on the charge to my credit card and would have the charge for the dolly removed. He also explained how to do the online return. Great! Then we get to the location. I took a picture of the odometer and gas gauge because I figured I'd need it. Then I proceeded to try to do the return. That was another effort in frustration. The website kept looping and wouldn't let me complete it. When we logged onto our account, it said we had no orders/reservations. I called again hoping for the same service I had received before and was basically brushed off. She couldn't get me off the phone fast enough because I wasn't a happy customer. THEN, the next day, my credit card is charged for the full amount including the dolly. I will NEVER go through a satellite location EVER again. It was the poorest experience EVER!Rick K.

Van was covered in snow, thick ice on windshield, cold engine start (10 mins to clear fog from windshield alone, fuel at my cost!!!) and not even a brush/scraper provided to clean off the van with snow falling all day! Was told at time of booking location on Regent unavailable for size of van requested. When stopped there to buy boxes, agent there wondered why not as lot was full of available vans! Doesn't even deserve 1 star rating!Clement C.
Truck was covered in snow. Sliding door was hard to open, ramp did not work. Overall the truck at this location has not been maintained by U-HaulGERALD B.

The truck transmission was not changing gears as quickly as it should be. This caused alot of fuel consumption.Shola O.
