When I showed up, directly from the airport, no truck. I called to try to confirm a day prior when I saw that my reservation was going to be moved to this location. Then I only got a vm and never heard back from the "property manager of this location". After standing around without anyone to meet or help, someone popped out of the next door office and asked if I needed help. Told her that I was waiting to hear from the owner/manager, and never heard, and have no idea how to move forward. Was give the phone and she was able to get him. At that point.. someone drove up in my truck, thought it was the 'delivery' person, and instead she was the previous renter. She handed me they key while the manager was on the phone with me. The text link that was sent to me had the wrong pick up location and I had no way of accessing my truck reservation right in front of me. I had reserved a hand truck and thta was not htere.. I was told to go to the uhaul center about a mile away to pick that up. I got in touch with Jessie, the regional UHaul rep who was amazing and took care of me by getting in touch with the "partner" who I was working with and who was horrible.. to try to fix the situation. At that point, I had a truck a dolly and pad and a key, which the uhaul center gave me for my problems... but never signed anything and never formally started my "contract" as I was "stuck in between" locations as the truck was late and that person before me screwed it all up. Needless to say, I had never rented or drove a truck before, never got instructions on how to use the truck. The gas cap was broken, I had no idea how to use it. The team in the Pensacola Uhaul center were great, they have heard/seen in all I'm sure. After the major Uhaul office was invovled, then I the partner got involved. We never completed my reservation until the day that I dropped off the truck. Needless to say I would NOT rent from that pick up location again, and for someone who has 8 other jobs, not sure if he's taking care of your uhaul customers as he should be.

U Haul was not properly checked in and because of that, the u haul was incorrectly checked out and went to Pensacola. I was charged over 1000 dollars for u haul’s mishandling. Very unsatisfactory service
